We stayed for 2 nights right after our arrival in Mexiko. Needa, Dino and the whole staff were very friendly and always helpful. They were always assisting if we needed anything. We arrived late, they were waiting and we could also order food. We also had very good conversations. The Bungalows are very nice with each one separated in the jungle. With bathroom and shower. It is kind of a magic place to relax. There is only mobile reception and WiFi at the treehouse restaurant which makes it even better to come down and relax. Dino cooked by himself and the food was great. The mango sauce was delicious and the chocolate sauce not too heavy. Also breakfast was good and you could order individually. If you are planing to go to the area a stay Jolie Jungle is absolutely recommended.

We did not have a good experience here. It would be a fun place to stay for one night, but definitely not 7 nights like I had planned! The owners were out-of-town, which we were not informed about. The food was bad--soggy, lukewarm french toast and brown bananas for breakfast, instant mashed potatoes or noodles and either shredded pork, shredded chicken or popcorn shrimp for dinner. One kind of beer. The eating place is cool, like a treehouse, but you can't read or play games at night because it is too dark. We lost electricity a few times in our bungalow and didn't have hot water 2 days. There is really nowhere to ride the bikes to or hike (you can walk the whole property in about 15 minutes). My daughter was unexpectedly in a wheelchair, and I couldn't push her to the clubhouse thing and you weren't allowed to have food or beverages in your room. So part of it was my stupidity, for bringing a sick kid to the middle of nowhere, but the other reviews made it seem like it had wonderful food and a magical setting, which wasn't really our experience.

We appreciate all comments, we understand your frustration, but unfortunately the facilities are not for wheelchairs. About the food our best comments are related to it. We recommend you that next time you book a hotel be sure that the facilities are suitable to your needs. Best regards

We have been traveling to the Mayan Rivera since 20 years ago and so many times at least 13... we have stayed in diferent Resorts & Hotels... So this winter vacation we chosed different we booked thru a travel website air fare & 7 nights, we got a car rental at Cancun Intl Airport to get us there as their website recommends. Jolie Jungle its in the middle of nowhere so if you like some beer or soda you have to buy it at the reception/restaurant at overprice, be aware that the policy there that its forbiden to bring food or groceries from outside. We got a bungalow that was not well finished with a Queen bed and a bunk bed that had no covers two little tables that hold barely a small suitcase there its nothing to hang clothes anywhere, the lights go out many times we got out of gas the last day of our stay so we ran out of hot water, that was fixed, also we booked a Temazcal bath with out the Chaman but our request was not posible, we also booked massage at 8 oclock at night but the lady arrived at 9:35 we where asleep at that time. The hotel manager Jimena was always saying that She was left alone by the owner because He had to leave to Paris.

We appreciate all comments. As you said you are used to book regular hotels an resorts. We are not either of them. We are a different concept as you can see in most of reviews. About the food as you said we are in the middle of the jungle. We have to be very careful about food inside the bungalow so we can keep animals away from the rooms and higiene and health issues. Regarding the services as you know we depend on third parties so we are unable to book them if they’re not available. About the massage it was a misunderstanding with the masseuse and we offered you a complementary massage at the next day but because of your timing you couldn’t take it. About me Jimena I did not complain I was just alone that day because the cook was sick and the owners were out of the property but I did my best. Best regards

After spending time in an all inclusive hotel on the Mayan Riviera, we also wanted to experience a night in real Mexico. We couldn’t have been more delighted with our stay here. If you want five start accommodation this is not for you! However, if you want peace and tranquility in a fabulous setting look no further. Bungalows hidden away amongst the trees are basic but clean, all having large window through which you can view the wide array of birds and butterflies and maybe an elusive monkey. The club house looks like a tree house which was very festive when we visited. The hosts could not do enough for us and we spent a very pleasant evening chatting about their journey to this wonderful place. Highly recommended!

My partner and I stayed here in June 2019 and we were blown away with the high standards, beautiful home cooked food, the owners hospitality and the jungle location. The resort itself is stunningly beautiful. It’s also rare to find a cool swimming pool in the jungle but due to the massive underground water network here that’s exactly what we had! It was so relaxed and pretty surreal. We would happily stay at Jolie Jungle over and over again.
