Beautiful little B and B, next to an amazing beach!!! quaint clean and with exceptional service!!! Wonderful comfortable rooms. Some are so beautiful with their thatch roofs that you want to cry. The Breakfast is to die for...and I will cry as I say goodbye, and I have only been here two days. This is Quintana Roo...without the big chains...

The rooms comfortable and clean. The breakfasts are different every day, all from the Mexican cuisine. Your hosts are friendly and helpful, speak English and Spanish. You are only steps from the ocean. The 2nd largest reef system runs from here down the coast through Belize. Great snorkeling, scuba diving right in the area. Fantastic place for a seaside vacation....

We were looking for a place where we could chill, swim, snorkel ( beach was only steps away) and look around town. And eat. Luckily we found this gem. Luis, Miguel and their staff made our stay memorable . Breakfasts were homemade , fruit coffee or tea, baked goods and an entree of authentic Mexican food. We stayed and read...

We loved the Amar Inn! This was my mom's first time out of her all inclusive bubble. She wants to go back. She said that she has never felt so relaxed on a trip as she was on this one. I can't say enough good things about Luis and his family, staff and the Inn. My son and I were...

This hotel is just behind another building which is right on the beach. Some of the rooms have water views. There is parking right outside. We had a room with good ac and a good bed. Wifi and tv too. Really nice room, pretty, big, and comfy. The breakfast here was great and interesting. We got to try green chorizo....

SUCH a great location just off the beach near the ojo do agua. The value is great even tho the room is pretty basic. They arranged a snorkel tour (which was GREAT for $20) and even drove me down to the pier. Easy peasy transport to the airport for $20 by the owner. I really look forward to staying there...

Wow! My partner and I booked a week long stay and when we arrived, we got upgraded to a gorgeous room! Luis and Miguel are among the best hosts we've ever had. Amar Inn was tranquil, beautiful, homey, clean, friendly and perfectly located 1/3 of a block from the beach. Our room was amazing with an ocean view and a...

Directly on the beach until a condo went in in front of it, but still a short hop and still a fun, comfortable place to stay. No view on lower floor [blocked by condo bldg] but hospitable management and yummy breakfast accompany the room fee.

I stayed for a week by myself in Cabin 1 - the orange one with blue trim. I loved it! Two double beds, a nice kitchen area, and bathroom. Space to store your luggage, and a tv (that I never turned on). There was two standing fans and A/C. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had trouble with my...

We have stayed here many times. We love our hosts Luis and Miquel and we love their giant dog, the eccentricities of the rooms, the silly staircase, the great breakfasts, the bats, the ancient rusty sea memorabilia, and the always-interesting travelers we meet at breakfast. Sometimes this place is beach front, sometimes not...currently not, but it beach is close!
