But we were asked albeit politely to vacate our pitch over an houe early so it could be prepared for the next people! Save this faux pa's on the part of the ground keeping team, the park was as good as always!

Many thanks for your review. I have spoken to my groundsman who was cutting the grass on Saturday 29th May. When he approached your pitch he thought (wrongly) you were an arrival! As you mentioned, he politely asked you to step aside, not to leave, so he could cut the grass before you set up for your stay! Obviously you were packing not unpacking! I can see how you saw this as request to vacate the pitch and leave. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding and look forward to welcoming you back in 2022. Yours Sincerely, Robert Hicks Proprietor

We stayed here for 5 nights mid May. We couldn’t fault the site at all. Very friendly, helpful owners, they even placed our caravan and levelled it for us! Very good facilities, beautiful heated pool area, nice terrace for drinks, a very well kept site. We will definitely be back !

Stayed here for 7 nights in September. We visited here approx 6 years ago and we had forgotten how great this place was. The site is immaculate and so well maintained. The staff are all friendly and very hard working. The facilities are first class. Great shop, selling fresh breads, croissants etc, outdoor seating for food and drink. It was lovely to sit around the pool area with a drink just completely relaxing. Pool was heated and again all very well maintained. very quiet but can imagine it being busier in school holidays. we spent most of our summers caravanning in Europe when our children were growing up and I can actually say that this is the best site I have ever stayed on. All COVID guidelines were in place and adhered to at all times.

We have just returned from a 12 night stay at Tregarton. Disappointed we couldn’t stay for the 14 we booked but the weather turned a bit too cold and windy for us “old” campers! The site is a real gem, spotlessly clean especially so given the Covid restrictions. There is constant cleaning going on around the toilets and wash facilities and a strict one way system. We enjoyed several drinks in the dog friendly part of the terrace area - all done via the site app and contactless payment. Highly recommended site

I don’t normally write reviews but I feel the owners of this campsite deserve acknowledgement for the care they are taking on site due to covid and keeping customers safe. The showers, toilets and communal areas are a strict one way system. They ask people to wear masks in these areas, and they are cleaning constantly, I never used the facilities without seeing someone cleaning areas. Absolutely spotless. The effort they take in the current climate with covid is is so reassuring. This is all done in a polite manner and not at all in an unpolite way. The site itself is beautiful and in an excellent location to see places of interests and not far from many beautiful coves and little fishing ports. Very friendly staff. The whole site is very well maintained. I would definitely recommend especially for anyone concerned about going away in the current climate, thank you for making our visit enjoyable.
