Nice hotel, clean, our room was big enough for 4 beds and a baby cot, well organised room with a nice decor. The hotel is situated in the village of La Brigue, close to the Mercantour, which was very practical for us.

My wife and I stayed here on the first 2 nights of a walking holiday. The hotel is beautifully situated by the river, just on the outskirts of the village. We slept with the windows wide open to the sound of rushing water. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and the relaxed atmosphere transferred itself to the guests. We...

A very nice Hotel with outstanding and helpful hosts. We stayed in a 2nd floor room (no lifts) with a very comfortable bed and nice bath tub. Food was very good in the restaurant. The location is just steps outside the center of town. Wifi works well from the lounge and restaurant areas, but wasn't available in the room.

This 2 star hotel is clean and good value for money. The owners are welcoming and helpful. The meals again, are good value - we had an enjoyable meal at the hotel each night, with some very nice wine. Wifi is available in the Lounge but not in our bedroom. We had a bedroom with a terrace overlooking the mountains,...

Le Mirval is on the banks of a river, by a stone bridge, in a beautiful mountain valley. So it's a great place to be, but the hotel itself is fairly average - the room was fine, but nothing special, it probably hasn't been refurbished in quite a while. Our group was one of several staying on a summer Friday...

The hotel looks very nice from the outside and the staff are welcoming and pleasant. However, I had a tiny room even though I had booked a double room with single occupancy. i am not sure if they had better, larger rooms but I certainly didn't get one. The restaurant was reasonable and the food quite good, nothing fancy though.

Beautifull old building at the entrance of the village. Room was ok with nice view. Decoration was cheapish, not in line with the building. Good breakfast. Restaurant was closed. Staff not really friendly. We were forced to pay for take the most expensive room without asking for it.

Good location. Very hard and uncomfortable bed. The food was terrible. When we asked why the cannelloni was mushy, the server said it was cooked earlier and then put in the microwave to heat it. The trout was bone and skin.

We had four nights in Le Mirval which were a delight. Everyone was very friendly, food was good and a good choice at breakfast time. We had a spacious room overlooking the river. La Brigue is a really interesting old village and although relatively remote is well known throughout the region and is famous for its honey and sheeps' cheese....
