Stayed in room 9. Nice view of the church, but the bells are awfully loud and every hour during the night! We stayed on a Saturday night and there were some locals drinking in the bar downstairs making quite a lot of noise- it quieted down by around 11.30. The noise from the bar carries upstairs and the room is... More

My husband and l just spent 3 magical days in la Brigue, staying in Roberti's small, but really delightful hotel, Fleur des Alpes. It has the best location in La Brigue, right on the river. We enjoyed really wonderful food in the conservatory overlooking the river. The menu changed daily, offering tasty, home cooked fare which included duck, fresh home... More

First of all, the owners and staff are all wonderful people, extremely friendly and always helpful. The room we stayed in was clean, although a bit old. Breakfast was good but not very extensive. We would definitely return here. Special thanks for drying our shoes!

My wife and I, along with another couple, began a week-long trekking trip in La Brigue, and we got ready for the trip while staying for three nights at the Fleur des Alpes. We loved the hotel and its owners. It is a family-run hotel and a social hub for the community. By the time left we felt like a... More

We stayed here three nights while hiking in the area. Robert and Laurence Bassini are the owners. They were very welcoming and made our stay memorable. The food was delicious. The rooms are simple but quiet although the rooms at the front of the hotel are across from the church and the bells ring throughout the night. The bells had... More

I happened upon La Brigue coincidentally while wandering the mountains surrounding this little village. Little did I know, I would find the most friendly and interesting village in France. I was asking around to figure out if I could stay and a local told me to go see Robbi. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by several... More

If you want a 'welcome in the hillside' I can definitely recommend this hotel . Robert , Laurence and Nicky will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We only stayed one night but were made to feel part of the family. The hotel is right in the centre of La Brigue , close to a locals... More

The rooms are basic but functional and the hotel is right in the centre of La Brigue. Robbi and his family are extremely good hosts and it shows by the flow of locals coming into the bar. Dinner was a complete surprise: home cooking of a very high standard. Our meals were included so I don't know the cost but... More

The host gives a warm welcome and gives tips for walkings and sight-seeing. Our room was spacious, Continental breakfast. I can recommend dinner, that was super. We had a lot of noise from the café below, but it stopped at midnight.

We stayed here at the start of what turned out to be an extremely rewarding and enjoyable walk from La Brigue to Menton. La Brigue is a place like no other. Hotel was clean and our room basic but did the job. My only qualm would be that the window was extremely small which meant that we did not have... More
