The hotel has been completely renovated at April 2019, has 10 rooms - 5 in the first floor and 5 in the second floor all with direct sea view. Hotel Livikon offers an exquisite seaside restaurant for your breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu consists of a full palette of local Sfakian and traditional Cretan dishes, and international cuisine. All is freshly prepared by our staff in our modern and professional restaurant kitchen. You can eat outdoors on our shady terrace with full sea view, or indoors. Our friendly staff speaks Greek, English, and French can help you with choosing your meal. We also serve a selection of local Cretan wines, draft beers and many other beverages, and fresh Sfakian pastries.

Livikon is a simple hotel but is well situated right across from the beach. Rooms are on the larger size with nice balconies with good views. With no booking, the check in was easy and friendly. While breakfast was not included in my rate, the cafe downstairs had a good breakfast choices. While the rooms had TVs, there was no English News channels. Arrived here after a spectacular bus ride through the mountains from Chania and a Ryanair flight from Dublin. So we had been travelling around 12 hours. We couldn’t have got a warmer welcome from the team at the Livikon. Welcome! Sit down. Relax. Have a refreshing drink! And relaxed we did on the waters edge outside the hotel. We thought we’d landed in heaven. And everything about this place was great. Our bright room was immaculately clean, simple but beautiful contemporary furnishings. The gorgeous bathroom had a walk in shower with almost a rain forest type shower. What a treat. Food was so good in the restaurant we ate both nights. It was the start of our holiday in Crete and this was by far the best food we had (and the food is everywhere great on Crete). We loved Chora Sfakion. You can watch sunrise and sunsets. There’s boat rides to wonderful beaches. And a great little village beach. Lovely little shops. Just a few. But enough. We adored this hotel. Our thanks to Yannis (Giannis?), Fannis and Stelios for making us feel so welcome. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay much longer. We’ll definitely be back. Loved it.…

Modern rooms with simple, neutral decor and all very clean.Bed comfortable. Beautiful view over the sea from the balcony. Nice to have the windows open and be lulled to sleep by the gentle lapping of the waves. Good restaurant downstairs. Friendly, polite service. A good choice in Chora Skafion.

You couldn't get more helpful and friendly, staff it was like leaving family behind when we had to move on. The rooms have been modernized and are very comfortable. Food to die for, worth a visit. We will definitely return.
