Lovely place and people whether passing through on foot, cycle or car. Rooms clean and comfortable. A cafetiere as well as the usual sachets of coffee was great. Good evening meal and hearty breakfast.

We stayed here a while ago and enjoyed it, so when we were passing with friends we decided to call in. Food was advertised as being served until 8.30pm, so we thought we would have lunch. The first thing we were told was that they had stopped serving as they had run out of food! So we decided to have... More

Beautifully prepared room and good location for a stop off between Scotland and Sussex. Nice to have a bit of a walk, foot path goes across the fields from the pub to the river Eden, before returning for our bar meal.

Lovely people, very nice room, stunning scenery and fantastic food. We booked the room at the last minute to break up a long journey. (Couldn't face an Ibis). We were made welcome from as soon as we arrived. The evening meal was high quality and a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend the Nateby Inn

Really chilled, great scenery, even spoke to some sheep. Breakfast was very nice as were all the staff. Easy to find. Extremely comfortable bed, in fact it made me go and buy a new duvet !! I would recommend it to my friends.

Great little place! Very friendly owners and great service! We didn't have our dogs but a few dogs looked very comfortable here with their owners! Would definitely recommend! We didn't explore the village as passing through but lovely place.

After a nightmare of a journey we were delighted to find this litte gem of an inn a mile or so from Kirby Stephen. We arrived to find a tranquil, quiet little hamlet of a village with an old country inn as our accomadation for the night. The staff were friendly and welcoming and our meals were delicious!. Stopped off on trip up to Scotland and not disappointed. Extremely friendly and attentive staff, room was spotless and had all that you needed. Food was excellent; you must try the pie of the day, mine was chicken and leek with a cream and tarragon gravy which was fantastic. Breakfast was hot and freshly cooked, even the dog had breakfast... Just stumbled upon the pub at lunch time. It didn't look to promising from the outside but that was very wrong. We only wanted a light lunch so I had pate and husband a tuna melt baguette. Mine was very tasty and not too big, my husbands tuna was large and came with chips, too big for him but tasty.... More

The room was on the small side for sharing with a Labrador pet.. The Bathroom facilities were good. Bar area was far too small for the number of people in the pub and extra seating was situated where food was conveyed from kitchen to restaurant so we had to go back up to our room, where the television was broken...
