What a place!!! We really had the best time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, no request is too big for them to handle. I would recommend this lodge a 100x100 times again. From the reception to the rooms to the food to the boat tides. Enjoyed every moment.

Stunning decor, very comfortable villas. Pack in a light jacket, can be chilly on the boats. Perfect venue to relax and unwind, with a good book. We missed not having a television in the villa, extra nap time :)

The Chobe River Villas are on the Namibia side of the Chobe National Park, beautiful views and our experience on the river on the hotel boats was amazing and so enjoyable. The staff were excellent and could not do enough to make our visit memorable. Food was acceptable not great for the five star rating

What an amazing place, absolutely nothing to fault! The beautifully appointed villas face onto the Chobe river and you get to experience the amazing sunrises and watch hippos and elephants grazing on the island in front. The cruises along the Chobe river never failed to reveal something interesting. We were worried that being the only guests would be awkward, but the staff went the extra mile to make as feel very special and by the end of our stay we felt like part of the family. The food was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. Nothing was to much trouble for Stewart and Jana and their staff. A repeat visit is called for!!

Perfect place to explore and experience the Chobe area. Great service, outstanding staff, very knowledgeable guides :-)! The villas have everything you would expect and even more. The private sundeck invites to sit, relax, read and observe wild life on and across the river. A dream. Stewart & Jana made our stay memorable, looking after every detail. Last but not least, the food is at top level, with chefs that surprised us every single of the five days we spent there, including the snacks for sundowner or lunches outside the lodge. Belive me, you will be very happy at Chobe Water Villas!

Our second trip & it was as awesome as our first trip. A special thanks to the staff that went out of their way to accommodate us when our flight was postponed! The only problem is that if you have been there, you just want to go back again.

Definitely one of the best hotel/lodging experiences we've ever had. The lodge is located in a beautiful and serene part of the Chobe river, facing an strip of land that seems to be bursting with animals and birds. The common areas are beautiful and well situated. And definitely not lacking in complimentary drinks, etc. The individual lodges are well spaced so you have plenty of privacy as well. The rooms are luxurious and thoughtfully furnished. Outside patio is peaceful and a perfect place to observe all the wild animals and birds in the morning and late afternoon. We are a family of serious foodies and we were definitely wowed by every meal. Incredible options and array of flavors during breakfast and lunch. Even more special was 3 course dinners we were treated to every night. There were so many great options, even for our son who has gluten allergy. The kitchen went beyond and made sure that he had just as many incredible options. I can confidently say that the meals we had here were definitely comparable to any we've enjoyed at highly ranked restaurants in London, Paris, New York, etc. Absolute gem. Even more special than the lodge, food, and amenities is the staff. Every staff member was warm and professional. All our requests/changes to schedule, excursions were managed smoothly and we definitely felt taken care of. I can't say enough good things about the staff and knew that we were being spoiled. It was so special that we warned our kids to not get too used to it. I know this lodge seems like it's located in a far away location but you won't regret it. This is definitely a destination location.

We have had the privelage to travel to many places over the years and never have we experienced this level of unbelievable client service. What an absolutely breathtaking experience. Brilliant and fabulous!!!!! 14 months after our original booking date, we were finally able to go on our long awaited adventure to Botswana, that was delayed 7 times due to Covid. On arrival at the airport we were met baie Phil from Flames of Africa, who transported us to immigration. There we were received by Gilbert, the friendly informative all around amazing guide, who took us to the Namibian immigration office via boat. Since stepping foot on the ground at Chobe Water Villas we were treated like Kings! The villa was amazing, the views from both the villa and the lodge was breathtakingly beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. Josephine was amazing, Heiki, Kevin and of course Gilbert were all the epitome of excellence. We would highly recommend supporting Chobe Water Villas. The team is out of this world. The wildlife and surroundings are things you have only seen on National Geographic, but can now experience first hand. Please support this team, they are wonderful!
