Reading other reviews about the staff not speaking English - it's Spain after all! I used my limited Spanish and got on fine with the staff. The room was basic, had a small but functional bathroom. With outside temperatures in the range of 40 Celsius the air con in the room was excellent. Breakfast was a little chaotic (not included...

In the two week tour of Spain this was the only one we would avoid next time We were not made welcome - forced to park motorbikes outside in the rain in spite of a large covered parking area, bad service in the bar/breakfast area and then locked in when trying to leave. Apparently we had not paid for something...

When we arrived in Minas de Rio Tinto none of the other hotels etc. mentioned on internet were open (kind of crisis?). But this one is certainly all right. Nice clean rooms, good light to read with in bed, good television, excellent airco (easily to understand and to operate, noiseless). The wifi is not perfect but will do. NB: they...

The rooms are a little drab to look at, but actually are very clean, en suite, and the beds comfortable. The TV helps, of course. The...

The rooms were clean and tidy, with a tv, on suite bathroom with bidet. The bar is cheap enough and plenty of seating both in and outdoors, the outdoor area can be screened off. No one seamed to speak English, but that was ok as we didn't speak any Spanish and I like charades. You can't fault it for the...

When I made the reservation at the mining village of Minas de Riotinto, I didn´t know what I will get. To my surprise, the village is charming and the lights in the streets during X-mass, give it a mysterious look, at night. Although the hotel is an old building, they have an elevator which works perfectly. They have a private...
