I'd describe the Chen Sea Resort as boutique rustic shabby chic. It's not perfect but it has an authenticity about it that you can't help but love. Not part of a big impersonal chain, it feels quite unique. It's ideally situated on it's own private beautiful beach, rooms are large and mostly within steps of the beach. The pool is great and we loved being treated by a scoop of ice cream as we lazed around. Sunsets are lovely. Breakfast was pretty good, a little limited due to it being low season. Dinner was good and it's only a short taxi ride to a number of restaurant options. Hotel manager Maurizio was super helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here. We'll be back.

Absolutely lover this place and everything about it! Great staff and amazing rooms. The pool was perfect and the private Beach was amazing. Food was without doubt the best we had while in Vietnam (also the priciest,but that makes sense). We ended up leaving the hotel only once. We will probably only come back if kids are not welcome because they make so much noise in the common areas, but we lover our stay in general!

Chen Sea was recommended by a friend and we are so glad! Private, clean beach, great villas right on the beach front, beautiful infinity pool and daily spa treatments made this a perfect spot to relax away from the hustle and bustle. Low season and fewer guests meant the resturant was on a limited menu, but it is easy to take a Grab into town for a meal if desired. Also the Chen Sea head French chef was happy to make special request foods for us too which were delicious. We came for a quiet rejuvenating hide a way and that is what we got. Friendly attentive staff were available but also gave us peace and quiet. We would come back for sure!!

Nice view, nice pool, that's all, the rest is poor During the day, I barely see staff smile, the worst thing here is staffing, from reception to restaurant to beach service, cold faces all the time, not helpful, terrible tentativeness The Hawaii pizza is a shame, the dough is super hard and salty Potato gnocchi is too salty.

It is the perfect place to relax and spend some time away from the hustle and bustle. Clean, friendly staff. The food is also excellent. Breakfast in particular is exceptional. The pool and the beach. I like to work out, so I would recommend it overall, even though the gym facilities were not great. I will return again.

It is a very kind and clean accommodation. All the staff responded with a smile and cleaned frequently, so there was no cleanliness problem at all. Especially, the swimming pool was very nice and pretty. Also, there was a great private beach, so I didn't have to go to another beach. My wife and I stayed here for 7 nights mid-April 23 after an extensive tour of Japan, Cambodia, and Vietnam. We found Chen Sea to be the ideal resort for a quiet, relaxing break to wind down before returning home to the UK. Chen Sea is a small (boutique) Resort with lovely manicured grounds set on a lovely private beach front. There is not a lot else locally, but taxi's are cheap if you feel the need for other experiences, etc. The rooms (we stayed in Ocean View) are large, spacious with private patio. It has air conditioning (you will need it 🥵), a large shower, and good bathroom facilities. Very close to beach, spa, pool, and restaurant. The beach is well maintained, although the sea itself suffers a little (like most beaches in South Asia) from occasional pollution (plastics etc) but the staff do a grand job of keeping the beach clear. To be honest though, the sea itself is very, very warm and the pool is much cooler and conducive to swimming and relaxing. The delivery of cold towels, cucumber eye masks and ice cream during the day are also very welcome. The restaurant is well positioned near the sea for excellent views and cool breeze. It has a very extensive and eclectic menu along with a myriad of drinks options. Every meal we had was delicious (even for my wife, who is vegetarian). I highly recommend the fresh fish options. It's all reasonably priced (IMO). Service is excellent. I had two wonderful massages at the Spa, so once again, I can recommend them. The service from all staff is top notch. Attentive, polite, and super friendly. The General Manager manages by walking about interacting with staff and guests, which is great to see. Overall, I can highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat in lovely surroundings.…

The all staff is over the top (sympathetic, friendly, helpful, and I could continue for a while). The resort itself is very nice and well maintened. The infinite pool no discussion about it. Very nice. Everything is clean until the last detail. The private beach is a place of relax where you can enjoy the sea, magnificent sunset,.....in a total calm. But.... yes there is a "but". A resort asking almost 400eur/night for a beach villa should think about replacing the communicating doors between 2 villas into a real wall. For the time being, and also depending who your neigbours are, you feel you are in a room with guests talking just nearby and this even if they don't talk loud. It's unforutnate but this problem is the same for all of them (as they're almost all twin excepted couple of them) …
