I am not easily impressed, but this hotel had us in awww. As soon as we drove up in the taxi they greeted us with a refreshing ginger type beverage - it was good (virgin)…Checking in was quick and easy. It is so clean, fresh and airy, and open in the lobby. The art work on the walls is well appointed. It’s the minimalist feeling like I like. It’s just enough decor with unique designs, but not to much. My husband and I were here for his birthday and our anniversary. We walked in our room and they had decorated it with balloons, and left us a bottle of champagne with a note! We loved it! We came from 4 days in MoBay from S Hotel, we regret that we didn’t just come here and stay for the entire 7 days. The staff were all professional, helpful and courteous! I would have loved to stay in a villa with an outside tub. Next time we will. I didn’t know that our deluxe suite did not have a tub, but everything else quickly settled my short lived disappointment. I didn’t pay attention to what I was getting in the room and some how thought our room would have a tub. The food at the restaurant is pricey but good. If you don’t want to leave the hotel it’s worth it, but if you are open to exploring, there’s tons of restaurants down the street where one can pay half the price for good food. The hotel is so beautiful that one does not want to leave! A food delivery service would be excellent! Like Door Dash or Uber Eats or something. I wanted to go on more excursions but didn’t want to leave the hotel. I wanted to enjoy all our time on the premises… If I come back to Jamaica this will be my spot. We love contemporary new decor and this hotel fits our taste. If I have to say anything negative, it would be that we didn’t find out about the mosquito lamp thingy that was in the drawer until after I was bit 2xs. I did kill a couple of mosquitoes, and I was a little agitated that they were sharing our bathroom. I wish I had known the mosquito killing lamp gadget was in the drawer on day one. Our bath room walls could have use some paint, it looked like the steam from all the showers is beginning to wear the paint off the walls and the ceiling in the bathroom. There’s a few spots of touch paint being used in the room sleeping area that was obvious, so it could be time to paint the entire room. It is very small things that could be updated (refrigerator it’s old, but works), but none of these things changed our opinion that this is an AMAZING Beautiful hotel! I wished the all inclusive packages would have been more reasonable here, I thought it was pricey to pay $400 a day for 2 people to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with only one restaurant to choose from. I have paid $1000 for 4 days with several choices of restaurants, there’s only one restaurant here, and while the food is good - choices are slim. There’s 1 menu with the same choices every day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I wish there had been more variety and choices in food options and dinning options. But, there’s a lot of places near to eat all kinds if food. The Cliff Hotel arranged our pick up from Mo Bay, and our pick up to take us to the airport. They also arranged a Covid Test right on the premises, and it was a easy quick process with results ready in 5 minutes, so we can get on our flight back to the US tomorrow. I would give the hotel 6 stars if I could. You will not be disappointed. If you can afford it - splurge for a villa.

We just returned from a fantastic stay in Negril We stayed four nights at the Cliff Hotel, to experience the uniqueness of this part of Jamaica, followed by six nights on the beach end From the moment we arrived in the lobby, we were treated fantastic Our room was on the first floor, very large suite with a living area, dining table, large bathroom with walk in shower, and a huge bedroom with a four poster bed The towels were some of the softest I have ever felt! Great shower, good water pressure. Coffee maker in the room with Blue Mountain Coffee. Large mini fridge which holds a lot (stop off at Mega Mart for supplies!) Both areas opened up to private furnished patios overlooking the gardens. Our housekeeper, Tiffany was wonderful. Room service (we did only once) was great, with food delivered in melamine ‘bento boxes” There is a small swim up bar, with a larger wrap around pool on the lower deck. The pool is beautiful I had the most fantastic 90 minute massage by Tanesia. She was absolutely wonderful. With only 33 rooms on the property, you feel like you are in your own private oasis. Lots of beautiful plantings, flowering plants, trees surround the pool. There is a wonderful seaside bar that we spent many an hour at, sipping cool cocktails mixed up by LT and Adrian. These bartenders are just superb. Wonderful service, attentiveness and hospitality. I witnessed Adrian dealing with some unsavory customers that decided they wanted to make their evening one of complaints and ridiculous requests. Adrian handled this situation expertly. Not only did he not get ruffled, he was extremely patient and listened to each and every inquiry with professionalism and respect (not that they deserved it!) I wish I had videotaped it so that future hospitality employees could see how to handle difficult guests. We had most of our meals at Zest and really enjoyed the food and service. There is a large patio where you can have your morning or evening meal, which overlooks the beautiful ocean along with spectacular sunsets. Sophia, Ramona were so lovely—friendly, warm and made us feel like family. Casey, the Lifeguard was so great. He set up our chairs by the pool each day with adorable towel arrangements, as well as assisting us when we jumped off the cliff into the ocean, making sure everyone was safe and still had loads of fun! We will definitely be back!

Not even sure where to start .... we absolutely loved our 5 day stay at The Cliff. The setting is pure paradise, only to be rivaled by the nicest staff we have ever encountered. When it was time to go home we must have hugged 10 or 15 people who worked there goodbye! And did I mention the delectable and creative cuisine by Chef Jonhoi? So delicious and so accommodating! We had some special requirements and they were always more than happy to meet our needs. The whole trip was pure relaxation in one of the most spectacular settings. Starting each day with complimentary beach yoga by the fabulous Sativa, pure pleasure. And if you are a little nervous about jumping into the sea (like me) the lifeguards Casey and Romaine couldn’t be more helpful or make you feel more secure. The servers at the restaurant and bars quickly became friends and we looked forward to seeing them each meal— especially Rochelle, Sophia, LT, O’Neill, Nicole and more! And the delicious drinks served by Adrian, Omite, Andre and more made each day so much fun. Front of house staff was always helpful, warm and welcoming, including Stephanie, Taji, Shandeau, and Amoy. And whenever something needed a little tweaking in the housekeeping department, Richie couldn’t have been nicer. This place is a hidden gem— I almost don’t want the whole world to find out about it! But it’s unfair not to share how amazing our experience was at The Cliff Hotel. It is a true treasure on the Caribbean Sea that you can’t help but love.
