We are very surprised that people here comment that it was a warm and welcoming stay , as this was the worst hospitality and most rude and rigid host we have ever met. The check-in time at 6pm is first of all very problematic , and way too late for any place that should be welcoming guests. Considering that it is a very small area with little to do, we were stuck in a cafe for 5 hours. The host was very inflexible and would not let us enter the premises before 6pm since she was so busy. When we arrived 5.45 she was however having a bath and then cleaned the stairs in a towel, just to ensure that we were not allowed in any minute before 6pm. She even gave us a clock to demonstrate the exact time. 😂 So, it goes without saying - this is not a place we recommend to anyone as I don’t even think the host wants any guests there. Perhaps time to retire? We did not even check in after this bad experience and have requested our money back - this was almost two weeks ago but haven’t heard back from Booking.com at all.…
This place is an Agriturismo B&B set in the hills above Ventimiglia in north west Italy. It is a short 90 minute drive from Nice and is very easy to find. It is run by the most welcoming woman named Cinzia. We arrive a little early so our rooms were not ready so she served us delicious Prosecco and chilled watermelon on the patio while we waited. Beautiful rooms had everything you could want .Dinner(optional) was a five course feast prepared and served by Cinzia. Her own olive oil took pride of place along with her own delicious red wine produced from grapes grown on the property. There is a beautiful natural spring pool a short walk from the house in the most peaceful location. Breakfast was freshly baked breads and excellent coffee plus all the usual cereals and fresh fruit.
