Good hotel with very friendly staff. Unfortunately, dinner and breakfast from the buffet had little variety over the 9 days and the filter coffee in pots was not up to the hotel standards. You should consider whether self-service machines would be better. The pool is unfortunately very cold, but there is always enough space to swim. The beach is clean and there are enough loungers and umbrellas, at least during our stay.

Position away from the town and activities. Connected to Umag with a beautiful 4.5 km walk along the coast as well as by the tourist train. There are plenty of opportunities to stay at the seaside or play sports (the hotel is opposite the Umag tennis academy). The structure is large and well maintained, as are the rooms. The staff is courteous and speaks multiple languages. The spa is well looked after (although not large) and allows for a moment of relaxation just as the outdoor swimming pool is comfortable and beautiful. More careful attention to detail and service (catering and bar) can lead to the 5 stars.

We visited for drinks as we were staying at a sister hotel nearby. The hotel is set within a pine forest, lovely nature, lots of shade. There was a big car park at the front. The hotel seemed very clean and had a calm atmosphere. Very little children (if any) around, it seemed more adults and maybe some older teen age kids. There was a casino in the lobby. We sat in the outside bar and they had a live music while guests played cards at their tables. Totally cool and chilled. The pools we saw by the bar looked very shallow so not sure if they might have bigger ones. There is a train that runs regularly and can take you to the other hotels within the Stela Maris Resort and also to Umag. The fair is 30kunas each way.

I had placed many expectations on this holiday, but I must say that unfortunately I was very disappointed!!! Hotel that claims to have 5 stars, but I would say that at most I can give it 3! The hotel needs to do a lot of work, starting from the air conditioning system, which leaks continuously and is very dangerous because if it gets wet on the ground, a tourist who is a bit lost in thought can fall. The rooms are old and the carpet can no longer be seen in 2023! If we want to talk about the food I can tell you that during our stay we only ate grilled chicken and boiled potatoes.... The pasta, inedible, overcooked and all the sauces contained heavy cream..... After having booked on the 24th of December 8 months in advance specifically asking for a quiet room, there are 250 of them, they assigned me the 349 above the loading and unloading of the goods and therefore from 5.30 in the morning it was a hellish mess and we had to get up... . A nightmare!!! The pool staff were very rude and only one spoke Italian, all the others Croatian or very little incomprehensible English. I have to say one positive thing: the staff at the reception, in particular Doriano, were very good and extremely helpful. I must also say good things about the waitresses, the waiters serving breakfast and dinner, Edo was very good and particular praise must be given to Katrin from Consierg, because she tried in every way to sweeten the bitter taste of the holiday in our mouths by trying to remedy it in part of the inconveniences, offering us a free gazebo in the park and a bottle of wine at the end of the stay. If I can give one piece of advice to the property, apart from the pool staff, hold on to the other people!!!

Resort for pensioners or play tennis, There is nothing for leisure in the area other than a couple of bars. The hotel is very well decorated, the breakfast is nothing more, but the dinners are horrible, there was only one day where I really enjoyed the food, I felt like I was in a school cafeteria, everything frozen and heated. No elaboration. Bar prices in the hotel quite inflated. And it should be noted that the hotel pipes broke/or opened magically, emptying all the sewage into the sea. In short, a place to which we will not return, we feel cheated by the price we paid and the quality we received.

Very disappointed at our arrival, the hotel was not modernised; the old carpet everywhere and the outdated furniture does not strike elegance and class as it should in a typical 5 star hotel.
The rooms were at best sub-par, as with general theme of the hotel - the rooms were outdated, and not particularly inviting. No USB chargers, and AC that did not go below 25c.
The staff seemed to be annoyed that we were there and weren’t particularly helpful.
We had booked a long excursion during one of the days, and had asked the reception to prepare a cold meal for us after arrival (as we would be missing the dinner service). They agreed, and our guide had even called prior to our return to the hotel to confirm the meal. On our arrival after a long day; reception had no clue, sent us up to the kitchen to check (which there was no one anymore) and eventually pulled some food out of a fridge somewhere that was clearly several days old.
On a positive note, the ocean is warm and the general area is very pretty.

Where to begin. The rooms are small, we paid for the sea view but we are looking into the gym. You don't have anywhere to sit down and relax, and we took the superior room.
Breakfast.. oh my, too many people and there are not enough tables. Staff doesn't care if you have a table or not. Also, the tables aren't clean. The food is really bad, for five stars hotel, the food offer is belove average. You can't get an omelet because only one person is cooking for all guests. Furthermore, food is also not being replaced on time so every day we do not have a whole offer.
The funny thing is if you want to go to the beach or pool, you must have a towel from the hotel, but when we got to the towel guy, they didn't have any. On the beach, you need to take an umbrella by yourself, we didn't see any beach guy whatsoever.
I almost forget, you also don't have enough parking spaces. Every evening we are parking somewhere in dark.
This isn't a five-star hotel, I wouldn't recommend it. We are still here but looking to move to another hotel.

5 stars hotel??? Can not find the reason for that. Rooms are outdated, balcomy is in really poor condition, furniture need to be renewed or even replaced, bathroom is not appropriate for 5 stars. We found food below average, plates and cutlery were not clean, on two occasions even dirty. Ordering coffee does not mean you get glass of water with. Spa is redicilous, allowing only one hour visit (ok, to be fair, it's covid measure). Staff is just ok, not above that.

when you book a premium room, seaside in a 5 star hotel you expect a little more, no, you expect much more than this small dark room with 2 uncomfortable chairs. The hotel guide book is so ugly, I would resist to touch it even without Covid 19. The TV has got the size of my laptop screen. All in all a poor room. And by the way, seaside means, that the balcony was built in the direction of the sea, not that you have a sea view. Seaside... ridiculous. Breakfast is really good.

It's fine for this price. What more can you expect? The staff is friendly, the room was so far clean. The breakfast buffet passable, the evening buffet did not meet our expectations, because too meat-heavy and flavorful, as well as rather boring from the offer. Pool and beach area were clean, enough sunbeds and umbrellas. Parking available, Pumpkin train stop in the immediate vicinity, plenty of leisure activities to choose from.
