My husband and I visited here for the second time for our first wedding anniversary. We absolutely love everything about this place. The food is absolutely amazing and is generous enough to last you until your next meal. The views are spectacular and you really don’t want to

Two words to describe this retreat. Blissful and absolute peace. The surroundings are so beautiful with the rainforest all around you. My husband and I had a lovely time just relaxing. Reading a book, swimming and barbecuing on our time. You lose track of time in this mystical

We paid about $600 p/n and chose to have the meals as well. (After all- I’m on holiday). Seriously take your own food. The curry while swimming in sauce was way over cooked so was tough and dry. The lamb stew was the same, both were flavourless. The lamb had potatoes and was

Dear Gillv63, Thank you for your feedback. We are surprised and disappointed to hear that you were not happy with our meals. Our slow cooked Spanish Lamb is our most popular dish and we have received hundreds of positive reviews and countless requests for the recipe. Slow-cooked Spanish Lamb • This lamb is cooked with brown onion, red capsicum, carrot, zucchini, cannellini beans, semi drier tomato, garlic, balsamic vinegar, red wine, stock, tomatoes, tomato paste and herbs/spices. • Served with cous cous, peas & broccoli, with chilli on the side. • Dinner roll. • Dessert of the day. We have varied menu; our menu/meals descriptions are provided to all of our guests prior to arrival and we happily work in with special requests. Had we been informed of your dissatisfaction during your stay, we would have been more than happy to work towards a positive outcome. Our accommodation types are self-contained complete with full sized kitchens and an outside gas BBQ. We welcome our guests to self-cater; if they wish to. We take great pride in our housekeeping standards and the work carried out by our team. Special events and requests require careful planning to achieve the desired outcome. We like to accommodate special requests where possible. To be fair you did ask for a romantic set up at the 11th hour and then it turned out that you wanted it all for free. Unfortunately we do not always have provision on hand for very last minute special requests and we do have to cover our costs. So in this particular instance, we did have to say no to one aspect of your second request. We glad we were able to assist with a rose petal heart and rose trail, free of charge. I was at the Retreat for a week for my wedding from Jan. 5 - 12, 2018. I simply can't say enough wonderful things about Crystal Creek! I am a very picky person when it comes to places to stay since I travel frequently, and this is one of my favorites. 1) the scenery is

My boyfriend and I (early 20s) stayed for two nights and loved it (he isn't even an out-doors person). The staff on site were very polite and friendly in the way you could tell they cared about you enjoying yourself. We stayed in the bungalow Quandong (one of the cheaper

Hi, You are right that the Mountain View Lodge pools are solar heated and will not be warm enough in winter. They do have amazing views and big two person marble bath which also has great views. The pool at Cedar Lodge will be about 28 degrees (please note that it is not an outdoor Jacuzzi). The Glass Terraces are always very popular. We are fairly heavily booked so it will depend on what is available on the dates you would like to visit. \ Please do not hesitate to contact our reception if you have any queries.
