Rooms and room-prices Our hotel has a capacity of 100 beds in 31 nicely furbished guestrooms with one to five beds. The rooms feature air-conditioning, bathroom (with shower or corner bathtub), satellite TV, telephone, safe deposit box, mini bar, wireless Internet access, and hair drier, most of them with balcony. The three-story hotel comprises a ground floor and a first floor as well as five rooms in the attic. There is an 8-person elevator for your convenience to take you up to the first floor. In addition to a special wheelchair accessible room on the ground floor, the public areas of the hotel are also designed to be accessible for the disabled. We are pleased to welcome families in spacious two-, three- or four-bed rooms as well as in double suits. For your safety rooms are accessible with a key card system to let you get around within the building, use the parking facility or pay without cash quickly and easily during your stay.

Orchid Hotel has a nice spa area, outside pool filled with warm mineral water and an English speaking owner. The room was nicely furnished and heated well but the bathroom was, a freezer with no heating at all. The balkony needed some cleaning. The deal in the hotel is "all inclusive" however you can check in at 14.00 hrs just the time when noon buffet is closing, so your first snack is 5pm tea time, taking into consideration that this small village has no other catering outlet. One would expect a bottle of water in the room, but alas, there was none. The rooms, are not equipped with tea and a kettle either. The evening meal was a total disappointment serving a two star quality meal based on products bought in some frozen products centre. The tea water was barely lukewarm. The hotel offers a nature tour in the package, however we have left after one night of stay. The hotel is situated far from the motorway, however it is excellent for bird watchers due to large swamp area in vicinity. In general it hardly can defend the 4 star standard and in vastly overpriced.…

We visited just the restaurant (we had different accomodation). They have all you csn eat buffet lunch between 12:00 and 14:00 but we were there later. They told that the restaurant is closed at that time they open around 18:00, but they offer food at the coffee / bar, so we could chode from the short ala carte menu. The food was really delicious, but the young waiter was so so lazy..he tried ignore us as long as possible. After he went the service was ok. So good food for normal prices..strongly recommend :) will visit again.

Lipot is a small willage close to Szigetköz, where you can enjoy the small branches of the river Danube. It is a nice hotel, but the rooms are very small. Forget it, and bike, walk in the surrponding!. The wellness is OK. The best is the staff! Excellent people smiling all the time, very helpfull! Take the boat tour, and also th coach tour!

Very pleasant stay on our 5th wedding anniversary. The sauna and spa area were very clean, the room also. The food was delicious, all fruits and vegetables were good quality. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful with our extraordinary requests. E.g. we asked for a candle that we took outside to the garden to enjoy our wine in the evening. Definitely recommended!

We stayed in the hotel for three nights with my two children (4 and 8 years old) and my husband. We are from Serbia. It was very comfortable for us because we got a big room with soft beds. We could choose many programs and we visited the bakery which was an amazing experience for us. The food was very delicious and our children loved it even though they don't eat anything. Our children want to come back in the summer because they could play with many games and had a great time here. The staff were so kind and helpful, if i asked something, they could answer and made our wishes. That is why, we hope that we can come again to this beautiful hotel. Of course if we want to have a great time with the family, we will choose this place.

We have spent four nights here, including the New Year’s Eve programme. The hotel provided a proper and affordable package, which included all inclusive conditions, very good and clean spa facilities and several activities, such as excursion by horse-drawn carriage in the beautiful nature of the frozen river banks, visit to the large industrial bakery unit, to the nicely renovated church of the village, the “floating Nativity Scene (Betlehem)” on the frozen lake, among others. The thermal water is really excellent here. Walking in the small village is another great experience, when all people you meet on the street greet you politely. The staff at the hotel was also very polite and the conditions were very good. This visit to the small village of Lipót gave us a proper winter relaxation, both physically and mentally. Based on these experiences we plan to return to Lipót during a warmer season of the year, when the wildlife of the Danube provides even more attractions of the beautiful nature of Szigetköz.…

Nice hotel, good quality rooms, thermal bath, delicious food ("colorful" breakfast), very quiet area, close to wild Duna river. Close to the hotel thermal aquapark and incredible bakery! The disadvantage is nigth, restaurant is open until 23 PM or even 22... Anyway I recommend this place

I stayed in the wheelchair accessible room in the Orchidea Hotel, Lipót in September 2013. The bedroom and accessible bathroom were very disappointing. The bedroom was dated and in need of refurbishment. There were two bathrooms; the main bathroom was very small with a narrow door. The accessible bathroom was extremely basic; it consisted of a sink, toilet and shower. As seen in attached photos it didn’t have a shower curtain, mirror, bin or toiletries. The shower chair was very poor. Breakfast was also very disappointing.
