We’ve been staying two nights in the Suite. The room is just perfect. Large, comfy, very good bedding. Large bathroom and a private balcony if weather is good. Everything is great at the Florentin, from the warm welcome from the owner and the receptionist to the amazing dinner served at the Florentin restaurant. The lobster with wild mushroom was just to die for… And breakfast is really good too with homemade pie and lots of local cold meat and cheeses. We will definitely come back!

Incredible place. Very clean and amazing service. Rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was ti die for! Highly recommend this if you pass by this little village. You can rent bikes close by in order to go for a day trip in the pretty country side

Florenville is a nice village in an even nicer region, I recommend to visit. Lot's of shops, pubs and restaurants, astonishing views and walks around it. Hotel Le Florentin was recently renovated, has a great large parking lot at the back, large terrace for outside breakfast and dinner service, staff trilingual and friendly. So top room for reasonable price. We stayed a few nights, we were happy. Only recommendation perhaps, try to vary a bit in the breakfast buffet and change your bakery (minor detail at breakfast). Also the lady 'organizing' breakfast service could be perhaps 'less' visible and operating from the background instead :-)

Called in here to try and book a taxi, my car having broken down. Unfortunately no taxi service in the area (nearest taxi is in France, so a good business opportunity for someone) , but the owner/manager drove me to my house - about a fifteen minute drive in her own car. Very friendly and I will be back to enjoy both the piano bar and the restaurant. Great way to treat non guest and encourage them to become customers.

After desperately looking for a charging station in the French Ardennes I found out this was my only charging option left within my range. Although hard to find, the hotel helped me out and let me charge my car overnight on their property free of charge (not the electricity of course).

Travelling to Belgium for business nearby, I had the great opportunity to stay at this very comfortable hotel for 1 night! First of all I was really welcome by Stephanie who further the standard greetings, was so nice to upgrade my room to a nicer one provided by a good view terrace. I also had the chance to visit the Orval abbey, extraordinary place for homemade beer! Breakfast was ok! I’ll be back for sure 💯!

I had the choice to stay anywhere in Florenville and choose the namesake hotel, Le Florentin in the middle of this nice town. All the staff were very very nice and it is a modern hotel with private parking. A couple of things let it down badly and not all are the hotels issue - the rooms facing the square experience ‘niteclub in the room’ from the bar next door until 1am as deep base sound bounce around the wood-floored rooms and shouts from those smoking outside or leaving the bar also penetrate. See picture enclosed of offending bar next door. There is however the hard hotel pillows (seemingly immune to elbow smashes) and their scratchy covers (had to remove in the end), and a bright sensor light that turns on when going to the bathroom (why so, it’s only 10 steps ?) - as the hallway area walls are mirrored I though there was a stranger is the room when the sensorlight activated which scare me half to death. All put together, I left more tired than I had arrived :(…

Dear Sir, You had unfortunately the only room next to the bar and we didn't know that there was a halloween party :-(. There is live in Florenville... I am sorry if you have a VERY SENSIBLE skin but you are the first one to tell us that the covers are scratchy and for your information, you have other pillows in the waredrobe if you want (but you need to check before). The light next to the toilet help people to not fall and to find their way in the black (of course for you it is not necessary but it is for others). If your appearance in the mirror scared you, it is not our fault neither. Regards Florentin team

Florenville is not really interesting, but this hotel was a nice surprise in this town. Very modern decoration, one of the room's wall is a huge mirror ;-) It's all very refined and enjoyable. The staff is very welcoming. The breakfast is too expansive though.

We had a great stay here. Absolutely no complaints about this hotel. Staff very friendly. Rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. Beds were very comfortable too. Free parking right in front of the hotel. Hotel is near a chocolate shop, bakery, super market and many restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay here again! The hotel looks brand new. We visited Orval which is only 20 minutes from the hotel.
