Have a chance to come back and stay again in this beautiful resort. This time I stayed with my friend, the experience was again wonderful. Staff are very friendly and accommodating😊 nothings too much trouble to them and are all willing to help in any way they can. Room was lovely, we had a sea-view room which is amazing and was cleaned daily. Breakfast restaurant was again excellent ! they have varied food for everyone which cater most of the European guests. Overall l- my friend I did a relaxing and wonderful holiday at APSARA.

Our return to the Apsara after two and a half years of pandemic was like returning home. The hotel is on the beach front, very clean and with well maintained gardens and the beach is cleaned by the hotel staff. We were in a Jaqussi villa, which was very tidy, well decorated and comfortable. The beds are huge, king size and very comfy. Most of the staff from our 2020 and previous visits were thankfully still there. All the staff are curtious, very friendly and will help with any problems. we had no problems. The food is good, reasonably priced, and there is now an"upmarket" resteraunt where the food is excellent although a little pricey. Overall a fire star rating, We have booked for March 2023, which is about our 16th visit to this exceptioanl hotel. Highly recommended. John and Elaine Doyle Manchester UK

Wow. Beautiful relaxing hotel and amazing friendly and helpful staff. VILLA: We stayed in the villa side with a villa pool which was fantastic. It was even ready when we arrived mid-morning. Lots of storage and wardrobe space. Lovely lounge area. Huge comfortable bed and pillows. Fridge stocked daily with beers, soda, and water. Tea & Coffee making facilities. Even nice little thoughtful touches like umbrellas for the occasional rain, beach bag, sandals, mosquito plug. The main pool area by the villa side restaurant is beautiful and has really comfortable sun loungers. WiFi is also really good around the various areas of the hotel. FOOD: Very good with lots of traditional Thai food. Curries and stir fry were excellent. The different bread are absolutely beautiful here. If you stay in the villa side, you have a choice of Kinaree (non-villa) or Napalai (villa). Breakfast go to the villa side restaurant as the views are beautiful and so relaxing. Buffet breakfast is available and the chef will cook eggs any way you want. Lunch here is also very good with a menu. Drinks are good with a wide variety of cocktails. If you are in the villa side, you get one free Al A Carte in the beach restaurant, the pizzas and calimari here are fresh and very good. Overall an amazing and relaxing holiday and we would gladly come back. Thank You Apsara and to all your amazing staff. We will gladly return here. THINGS TO DO: Khao Lak Elephant Home: Wow. This is an amazing experience. Don't listen to the rep if they try to sell you a different trip. Just walk across the bridge and upto Memories bar, then take a left. The elephants are so loved here and well looked after. No riding allowed. You can feed them for 100 or 200 Baht or do the feed & bathe the baby elephant for 1800 Baht which is well worth it. The staff are lovely and treat the elephants with love. The elephants are free to go back into the forest at night and come back in the morning because they love being fussed. After the experience, they give you fruit and water and a photograph to remember the experience. Well recommended. Biang Nang Market: Runs from 3pm-10pm on Sat, Mon, Wed. The hotel runs a shuttle at 5pm which you need book for 100 Baht per person. Entertaining market with lots of great stalls selling souvenirs, local crafts, local food. The people are very friendly and the market has a great safe atmosphere. You can get taxis back to the hotel at the market entrance for 300 Baht. Beaches: If you go across the bridge to the villa side, there is a tree area with a path to the beach. There is a bar here named Memories Bar. Go past that and there is a stunning beach which stretches for miles. The sand is soft here so you don't need beach shoes. The other side is a coral beach which you'll need beach shoes or trainers. This is a fantastic area for Birdwatching and there are hundreds of waders at low tide. Massages: The hotel does fantastic 1hr Thai massages on the beach for 600 Baht. TIPS: Thailand does have plenty of mosquitos so take some strong DEET spray. We bought a cheap mosquito net from Amazon which worked well as a cover over the bed with some chairs. The hotel kindly provides mosquito spray in the dining areas. If you have an early flight, you can ask for a breakfast box night before from reception.

We spent two weeks at this hotel and I have to say, after initial concerns about the lack of shops restaurants and other things to do close by to the hotel, actually it really didn't matter. The hotel had everything we wanted and if we wanted to eat outside the restaurant or do some shopping, then we could take a cheap tuc tuc to Khao Lake centre which was only a short distance away. The grounds, the room, the staff, food and drink was all great. The staff couldn't do enough for you, very friendly and always wanting to give you a good service. The hotel is right on the beach front but be prepared, when the tide is out, it's out a long way. But the nice sandy beach made it very pleasant. One of my criticisms is that although the hotel had a man going along cleaning the beach, it would have been nice for them to have a machine rack it over and make it look more attractive, small thing but a little attention to detail. The sun beds are mainly on the grassed area and around the pool, not a bad set up but again the beds and parasols are looking tired and in need of renewing. Although advertised as for family's and kids, I would say this is ideal for couples, there is very little for kids and entertainment is make your own. As a couple we found it quiet, relaxing and good for making new friends. We had a great time and will return one day. Thank you Apsara for a great two weeks.

This was a short get away for us and we wished we could have stayed longer. Location is quiet and away from the nearest town, but you could get there by taxi within 10 minutes. Rooms always clean and tidy, the staff were full of smiles and there to help if needed. Thoroughly enjoyed the buffet style food and the local curries were amazing. The beach was lovely sands, just watch out for high tide as the river flows quite fast and is waist deep. Low tide is a paddle to cross.

It’s the second time we’ve been to the Apsara but hopefully not the last. It’s a simple but wonderful pleasure just to walk around the beautiful hotel and gardens, being greeted by smiling, friendly staff where ever you go. Further afield, we loved the beach, the river, the surrounding forest, the Memories bar area, the Elephant Home and the fun Moo Moo cabaret show. The staff were a credit to the hotel and their country with special mentions for Agata, our super helpful Tui rep and Ko the barman for whom the phrase ‘Service With a Smile’ was invented.

This was our 4th visit to Apsara, The service you receive from the staff is outstanding, Emme the customer service manager is amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure the guest are very well looked after. My Husband was taken ill on the 2nd night of our stay and the quick response of the hotel staff was amazing nothing was too much trouble. We got moved to the villa section so my husband did not need to climb stairs , the villas are stunning. We will definitely be returning

Great hotel really enjoyed my 2 week stay. Staff are so helpful and friendly and really will go above and beyond. The food in the restaurant has been outstanding. Varied choices, fresh tasting and never a battle to get a table. Table service for drinks with plenty of choice including cocktails. The wine was acceptable, South African wine was on the all Inclusive menu. Pool and beach are clean and nice. Never a battle for a sunbed unless you wanted the front row facing the beach. Rooms we had a garden view which actually did have a sea view if you looked to your right, I preferred these to the swim up rooms as the balcony’s for those were all in the shade. The villas looked lovely but being so densely packed with trees the bugs put me off staying in those in the future. The location is remote, very little to easily walk to. Don’t let this put you off as tuk tuks are on hand to take you everywhere for a few pounds. You can walk To the Marriott hotel along the beach for a drink or memories bar next door (I wouldn’t recommend using the facilities there however) The biggest downside to the hotel (and again I wouldn’t let this put you off) if you are all Inclusive you are kind of segregated as lower class guests. There is a great beach side bar that sits empty almost every day and evening as it’s for guests paying for their drinks only. If they allowed everyone to use this the evening atmosphere would be a lot better. As an all Inclusive guest even if you try and buy a nice coffee they do try directing you to the all Inclusive self Service area. If you visit be sure to eat out, plenty of delicious restaurants at a very cheap price. We did a couple of tui excursions one which was elephant feeding and bathing which also incorporated bamboo rafting, a cooking class, and a temple visit. The other tui trip was a speed boat to phi phi islands. Both excellent !!!! Pams restaurant is a great place to visit, she will Even collect you and bring you back to the hotel. We ate there one evening and then did a cooking class the following day which incorporated a local Market.

We have just returned from another fabulous 2 week stay at this hotel. What makes this hotel so special are the lovely staff, always smiley and very very helpful. They can’t do enough for you. The hotel is very well kept, it’s in a lovely area with lots of nice walks, the beaches are amazing and very quiet. There are lots of places to visit and very easily arranged at good prices (we arranged our at Memories). We will definitely return, thank you everyone at the Apsara.
