The X10 resort is very conveniently located on the beach between the Khao Lak town (primarily a stretch of road with a lot shops and restaurants) and the Bang Niang night market. 2. Great rooms and top cleaning. I can really recommend getting one of the double rooms with a bunk bed for kids, bean bags and cheerful wallpaper – the option to just go in there, shut the door and read, play and be alone for a bit was a great hit here. And the little details – the staff left us milk and cookies every day, just because. :)
3. The beach is great – with a nice beach bar and ample space to relax as well. Getting to Khao Lak or the night market is easiest by car from the main road, but you can easily walk to the latter in around half an hour along the beach.
4. Hotel communication and service both before and during the stay was some of the best I have experienced so far. A special shoutout to Pearl who went out of her way to ensure a really great stay for us at X10.

Always space available in the different restaurants despite high season. Only 10 minutes walk to town with lots of different restaurants and local shops. Excellent and safe taxi service offered by the hotel. Other local taxi service available 24/7 just outside of the hotel with more or less fixed prices depending upon destination and number of passengers - also safe but in open taxis and no seat belts. Spacious and clean rooms with excellent king size bed. Also a couch that unfolded accommodated two children for sleeping. Towels changed every day and pool towels also changed every day in the early evening. Friendly and polite staff offering excellent service and always ready to supply you with tips and tricks about the local areas offerings, tours and beaches.

We have just finished a wonderful 5 day stay at X10. Highly recommended for location - short 10 minute walk to Khoalak restaurants and bars and about an hour from the airport. Although peak season and full the resort manages to never feel busy with well spaced and enough loungers around the pools and facing the beach. The pool nearest the beach is for adults only which means that there is little noise near the pool and beach. The children’s pools are well equipped and there is a kids club. The seaside restaurant by the beach is great for a quiet evening - all in all a super place to stay. Special thanks to Kathleen for helping us with the tours we did and i can also highly recommend their airport pickup service. And certainly not to forget to have the daily massages at the beach watching the sunset and listening to the water. The massages cost around 12 euro for a full hour.

We visited X10 28 Sep to 1 Oct 2024, From the time we arrived we were greeted with warmth and smiles, the resort was clean and neat 4 beautiful pools, 1 adult only and the other with a slide, they did have a small waterpark for little kids but was under renovation during our stay. a beautiful beach with direct access. we had a beach wing family rooms it was great kids had their own room with bunk beds really spacious and comfortable. the food was good and really enjoyed the spread at breakfast. we used Tuk tuk to the center which was 150bht and 200 to the night market. overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We came as a family with two adults and two teenagers to this beautiful establishment in Khaolak. We had two large bedrooms in the Family Wing on the ground floor, bordering the pretty pool, pool that welcomes children and families. Our room had a nice terrace where we enjoyed resting. The hotel also has a swimming pool on the seafront for adults only and quieter for those who wish. The staff of the hotel and the restaurant, showed the care, the half board cuisine for the evening buffets was delicious, the breakfasts excellent also (very important to us). You can have a la carte lunch with a whole bunch of delicious snacks that can be served to you by the pool or hotel restaurant. I would add that the cocktails are delicious. I recommend the French to participate in the reception in French (which can be fast) the day after arrival with Hugues who will give you a map of Khaolak and useful information for your stay.m and possible excursions. The beach is very nice. We had the chance to be there for the New Year’s Eve party which gave us a magical moment, with a beautiful fireworks display and a poetic lantern release. Great stay at the X10 Hotel. The room was spotless and superbly designed, with an excellent espresso machine, many channels on TV and a convenient working area with plenty of plugs, which is important for bloggers :D The fridge is empty but the hotel has its own mini-mart. The breakfast was huge with plenty of choice for everyone (but no espresso at the coffee machine surprisingly). The pools are great and the Kids area is fun with the big water slide.
The beach is peaceful during the day and offers great sunsets to enjoy with your evening cocktails. The team at the Seaside Kitchen near the beach was the best, they were so nice to everyone, and I was impressed by how all the guests kept going to thank them before going home. Big thanks to Katai, Bell, Peang and Lilly who made me feel relaxed and laugh.
Note that if you don’t have your own transportation, there is a bit of a walk to go from the hotel to the main road. (The hotel offers a few shuttles but not very frequently).
