This is a good 3-star hotel. Room had plenty of space, toilet and room were clean and tidy. Front desk staff was nice and efficient. Breakfast was a cut above for a 3-star, which was a plus. The minuses had to do with the sleep quality: noise was not a problem but the mattresses and pillows were old and of... More

biking across the wilderness of eastern Portugal I found myself in Mirandela and this hotel commands the view by the road bridge. The staff spoke English at a nice sized room with river view cost peanuts .Food was "ok" - I don't think that's the countries specialty - but plentiful and everything was so inexpensive! Beer as cheap as water at... More

We stayed here for one night and it was quite ok. Don't expect anything fancy or out of this world. It's a 3 star hotel. It's a bit old, could use a refurbishment. However it has free parking, wifi and swimming pool. Also it's in the center of the town. The room was comfortable and big, with a nice balcony... More

This hotel was chosen as it fitted conveniently with our itinerary. The lady on reception was welcoming and helpful. She offered us use of the underground car park (which was very large). Our room was facing some blocks of residential flats - not ideal but at least it was only for one night, better to have had river facing room!... More

Situated on the banks of the River Tua, and across the medieval bridge, the hotel is located in the quiet district of the city of Mirandela, not Bragança. The hotel has good facilities. The hotel is false advertising. It has a pool that is not clean (which is not treated for several months). The host can not think of taking... More

This hotel is actually in the town of Mirandela not Braganca which is about an hour's drive away. "Grande" is something of a misnomer for this modern edifice which spoils the view from the south side of the river. However, this is a good thing for the guests since the view from one side of the hotel itself is magnificent.... More
