In Mattarello there are not so many options... I would recommend this one because: - the breakfast is a good buffet - the rooms are comfortable - there is a gym and a spa area - there is a farmacia and a supermarket close by - they have a restaurant, it's closed on Sunday but there is another one close by I stayed three times in this one. Here are several points: - if you stay in superior room you have free access to spa area (saunas and a small pool, don't forget a swim cap or you'll have to buy one) - regarding the spa area, last time I was there in summer 2017 and it needed some renovation (during the last stay I didn't go there, perhaps they already did some renovation) - last time I stayed there I noticed they did some renovation, at least in common areas - the breakfast got improved... actually it's freshly squeezed self-made juice available at breakfast that made me give them five points! Yes, a box of carrots + apples can actually buy me :) If you need to go to Trento and you don't' have a car, just take the bus #8. One bad point: the rooms have doors instead of windows, the door leads to the common terrace, and if you leave it open... there is a slight feeling of insecurity... and... people go to smoke on that terrace and then it feels like someone has smoked in your room.

This hotel cannot be described as charming but it is functional for a one or two night stay for people in transit. It right on the road in a not very interesting area, but the other side of the coin is that it is close to the Trento Sud motorway exit and access to Trento by car or public transport is easy. The hotel is part of a shopping complex and does not have a dedicating parking space, just the one of the complex shared with the other shops. The structure seems a mixture of some aspects that have been renovated and some more tired ones. E.g., the bed was somewhat sagging and the aircon was from a different era, switching on and off continuously and rather noisily and clumsily, recalcitrant to commands...The toiletries and the complimentary items are the most basic you can find in a 4* hotel. Lighting is too dim and not adequate in my opinion. On the other hand the room was quiet (considering the proximity to the road), the shower was good, and the wifi worked well. Breakfast is just about decent for the category, the best part being the excellent juicer for those who like it healthy. Personnel are kind. Prices fairly reflect quality and location.

A very nice hotel complete with wellness area and a gym area. The room and the bathroom are very clean, all the services fully meet my expectations. I was satisfied with the breakfast and the restaurant, but above all I have to congratulate all the staff. When I return to Trento for work, I will definitely stay in this hotel again, which is in a quiet position but still a 5 kilometers from the center.

In the main this hotel was a good place to stay but there were a couple of aspects to be aware of. It is a conference centre hotel and attracts a business crowd which in itself is no problem bu just so you know, It had a bar but not in the traditional sense of a bar. The bar is attached to the reception desk and apart from a couple of reception lounges, there is no seating. The choice is also limited. The dining room was very good and so was the food. The best aspect however was the excellent service we received at both breakfast and dinner. Could not be faulted. We had a room on the terrace(4th floor) with views of the mountains. Unbelievable.
