Stay away - NOT worth the money. Far too expensive. Service bad and rude (manager only) Large room on 2 floors - but Bed terrible. Noise all night. Food good. Parking OK. But no value for the very high price.

Great food and good service, the staff were friendly and the food was quick coming out. Prices were ok and the food was very good will definitely recommend to family and friends. The restaurant was busy and there was a good choice of food.

We were sat down quickly on what seemed like the end of a busy Saturday lunch which seemed like an excellent start with our drinks order being taken and brought to us promptly. The top of our glasses were filthy with lip stain but as not to be a bother I went to ask for a straw. There were only TWO options for vegetarians which we both are so had one of each. For £13 EACH the curry to rice proportions were totally wrong and to only be served salad with a tart made the meal very inadequate. We had ordered cheesy garlic bread at the same time as meals but after chasing THREE times it eventually came (having nearly finished our meals) and disappointingly turned out to be more of a poor attempt of cheese on toast - no taste of garlic at all! On being disappointed with that I then went to empty the remainder of mango chutney to look in the ramekin to find a small black hair, being blonde brown myself I stopped eating and walked to the bar to pay (to be ignored by 4 members of staff stood talking) Couldn’t get out of there quick enough, if you want lunch here you’d have better hygiene and service at a fish and chips hut!!

Went to have some lunch with my partner and the level of customer service out of 10 We would rate as a 2 we were greeted but not attended to without having to call for a member of staff which took at least three times of calling out to them the restaurant only had a couple of tables in so not as if they were busy. When we advently asked what we would like the dinner my partner asked for the pork bellie which was served with a very over cooked black Yorkshire pudding and then when we requested if they could provide one that wasn’t so dry burnt and tasteless they didnt seem very bothered the pork belly which was a single slice just about to a small child. They did not asked if we required any condiments to go with the meal. The meal itself was a let down so decided to ask for the bill first time when they cleared the plates not noticing that most of my partners meal was left, then after the fourth time of calling out my partner went up to them to pay x general lack of customer service poor portions for the high price of over cooked products now I can understand why on a bank holiday weekend the Sunday at 1pm the place was empty x

We decided at last minute to get away to celebrate hubby's birthday. Didn't want to be too far from home, but enjoy locations near the sea so West Bay fitted the bill. We rocked up about 11am and parked easily near the hotel - it was off season, not sure parking would be available during school holidays Bar staff friendly and welcoming. Had a quick walk around the sea front / pier area before going g back for a very nice lunch & checking onto room. We had the honeymoon room which is lovely; lounge area & bedroom both had views over sea front. There is a sandbank which does somewhat limit the clear sea view but we understand this is due to be lowered which will make the view amazing Breakfast choices as you would expect, served hot and with a smile 😊 West Bay is a lovely area plenty of coastal walks & small port area for a wander. Local bus service useful for trips to local area or further afield. Hotel not cheap, but we were happy with our stay.
