After many visits to this pub, we can only say that they seem to put a priority on visitors with rancid dogs. It's a shame, the location of this pub is perfect. The constant dog smell inside the pub is more pungent than the pleasant fishing boats by the harbour. Maybe the staff and customers with dogs are immune to...

Thank you for your review. We understand that not everybody likes dogs, however, if you had indeed visited our pub on numerous occasions you would have known that we have dog free areas. If you had asked to have been moved from a particular table then we would have assisted you accordingly. I would like to say to all the people...

A very popular watering hole near the harbour and beach at West Bay. The beers are always good and wine average price. The food is good and the specials are generally an inventive selection of seafood locally sourced. Overall very good.

We had a fab lunch here on Easter Saturday. There were 6 adults, 3 dogs and a baby and we were all made welcome. Lovely friendly staff, good and quick service and great food. Would recommend this this gem of a pub. We will be back next time we are in Westbay.

My wife and I have just come back from a wonderful weekend in West Bay, staying at the glorious Bridport Arms. We ordered the suite, as it was my wife's 40th birthday ,which was absolutely beautiful. The room was huge with two areas, a seating area, which contained the fully stocked tea/coffee/hot chocolate/ fruit tea and biscuits. It was tucked...

As above, friendly staff but decor is very tired and needs updating, could look and feel so much more special with just a few finishing touches and touch ups even. Feels overpriced at the moment but nice location

Free parking either side of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant and bar was well stocked with a good menu and excellent food. We were the only customers at the hotel though the restaurant requires does require a reservation.

Visited early evening for food and drinks. Staff really friendly. I was hoping for a ploughman's but ir wasn't on the menu so I ordered cheese and biscuits from the dessert menu instead. Mt husband had the pork and mash. We both enjoyed our food although my cheese and biscuits was setved with dried apricots which I thought was odd...

Called in for a drink, but the choice was very, very limited. Service was OK, but the whole place was tired and needed some uplift. The food did have local fish but the serving hours are very limited which is a shame. This could be a more exciting venue.

We had two main meals. Both had really good parts but the bug bear was the disgusting reheated potato blob for advertised "creamy mash" .plus the chips looked good but were soft and powdery! I made my feelings known but the response was negative. The side of steamed veg was also extremely limited for the price. We went elsewhere for...

Not good. Actually only went for the accommodation as we were visiting a lovely fish restaurant nearby....which made our stay thank goodness. Hotel very disappointing. We were led to believe when booking that it was nearly full....after all it was July/August of last year, so I asked for a nice sea view of possible. Got there and we were the...
