Considering the purported four star rating we were frankly somewhat disappointed. From the outside the facilities make quite a good impression everything is very well maintained and welcoming, however the rooms not so much: We stayed in two double rooms, one of which was very small and very dark (bringing a spotlight comes in handy …), the other somewhat lighter...

I stayed only one night during a business trip to Florence and Siena, but I appreciated a lot the beauty of this nice Relais in the middle of Chianti countryside. Great atmosphere, nice views and the free wine tasting was a real surprise. I had dinner at their restaurant and food was quite good, but by my point of view...

We stopped by for a wine tasting on the way back from Radda. While the grounds were very attractive and well maintained, the service was snooty and lacking. The tasting was charged at 5 Euros per person, for 4 tastings, the absolute tiniest pours we have ever had. Whilst we understand the need for a tasting fee (which is usually...

Dear Sir, we advise always our guests about our tasting fee of 5 euro/person before to start the wine tasting. You have been advised too. The wine tasting is a degustation of wines as everywhere in the world. If you want to drink wine you can buy a glass of wine, here is possible with only 5 euro. You have...

We have just spent a lovely week at this place. It is very pretty, clean and in a great location. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had some beautiful food there (not cheap - EUR120 for two people) and very nice wine. The room we had was fairly small and a bit dark - but on the plus side,...

Location is stunning and the hotel itself is charming and serviced by friendly staff. The daily wine tasting at 18.30 is a treat as well.

Tucked away from the road Vescine is a great base from which to discover the delights of Chianti and Tuscany. The accommodation is delightful and we found the staff, with one excpetion, absolutely fabulous - especially when we had problems with our hire car. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good but we found the choices at dinner a little...

We have had a good time in this hotel. Staff members were very friendly and helpfull. Restaurant is good. Wine tasting is nice to do. Delicious wines!! Rooms are big but very dark. Maybe to keep the heat out. Because it is not a big hotel you meet other guests easier and have a little chat with them. It is...

Fantastic hotel, fantastic wine and fantatisc staff. We could not be more pleased. We are a norwegian couple who travel a lot. The Borgo di Vescine gave us one of the best travel-experiences we've had. The self-produced wine is very good. Buy a bottle of wine shop and bring it to the pool, the room or a bench in the...

This is the third time we came back to this hotel. The hotel is set in one of the nicest surroundings of Tuscany. The breakfast is fabulous, all food freshly made and very good taste/quality. In the Enoteca you can buy very exciting white and red wines and prosecco from the own vineyards. We were very well received at the...

“There are rooms with private patios but ours looked out onto the main walkway which was a little noisy one morning when a hiking group gathered before leaving early. It was the only negative and it was minor. Definitely returning to stay longer!”
