My husband and I spent four nights at Tenuta Cortedomina in late May and we didn’t want to leave! The family who owns and operates this beautiful inn and winery lovingly restored this estate to provide all of the modern amenities while preserving the property’s historic features. The estate is centrally located and surrounded by breathtaking panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside. We stayed in the Pompeii Suite, which features a large, private patio complete with sun loungers, a dining table, and an outdoor soaker tub. The kind and attentive staff served us breakfast on our patio each morning. We also ate dinner at Tenuta Cortedomina one evening - the seven-course chef’s tasting menu with wine pairings was spectacular! Finally, the owner’s daughter, Micol, who we saw every day of our stay, is nothing short of amazing. She is genuinely kind, hard-working, and takes great pride in her family’s business. We hope you did well on your sommelier exam, Micol! Our stay at Tenuta Cortedomina was truly wonderful in every way - we look forward to coming again (and staying longer next time)!

My daughter and I stayed a night at this enchanting house. We had a delicious dinner . Our stay was so charming and enchanting. Our room was lovely. I woke up and really felt like I was back in time . The room is modern but it’s views and the wood beans that must be so old . I felt like a princess in the 14 th century. The property has a perfect spot that was gorgeous. The owner and his family are very friendly and warm people. I definitely had a very enchanting evening here and hope to return . It’s such a beautiful area

I'm confident that we will never forget our stay here. To start off: the fact that this house has so much history and the family have restored it in such an authentic and magnificent way, is everything you dream of when you want to stay in Tuscany. The food is excellent, the amenities are top-notch, the views are dreamy, but the best part are the people behind it all. They were super helpful and friendly all the way. Micol, Andrea, Giorgia, thank you so much, we will definitely be back :)

We have booked this hotel only few weeks in advance, because other hotel in Chianti decided not to open till later this year and they cancelled our booking shortly before the trip to Italy. And we don’t regret it at all. That place is heaven on earth. It’s so peaceful here, views made us speechless, the hotel, the room...it’s something I simply can’t describe in words. Food in my opinion is fine dining and matched perfectly with their wine. It’s a family of 4 running the vineyard, kitchen and taking care of guests throughout their stay. We felt so good that we didn’t wanted to live. We hardly think about coming back to the same place but this venue is on our list of places to revisit.

We rarely review places (but rather read other people's reviews) but this place warrants a review! We stayed at Tenuta Cortedomina for 3 nights at the end of September, it was Magical! This is a family run villa and working winery, where every detail has been thought of from your arrival, the food and the decor. We were greeted by their daughter Micol upon arrival She is the cutest!! She is also the waitress for the tasting menu (which we did reserve on our arrival evening and highly recommend) the Parmasan pinwheels tho...AMAZING They also will also ask about dietary restrictions prior to check in. The restaurant is small and cozy and romantic. This place has been a labour of love for this family they have poured their hearts into making it extra special. The view from our room was a Hallmark movie. You will need a car to get here, it is a 5 min drive from the town of Radda. We made Radda our focal point as we wanted to stay in the country side, it is central to visiting Siena and exploring Chianti in Tuscany. They provided recommendations for wineries to visit and places to see. We cannot say enough Great things about the whole family, just adorable and eager to please! We were equally pleased to hear they had visited our home town in Nova Scotia! Special place you will not be disappointed :)

We recently had the privilege of staying 2 (too short) nights at CorteDomina with Giorgia, Andrea & their daughter, Micol, on a recent quick getaway to Italy. From the moment we arrived we felt extremely welcome and at home. The villa is situated in a beautiful valley directly below the tiny mountain town of Radda in Chianti. Not one detail has been left unattended to; from the lovely dining area to the private rooms, extending to outside seating areas (there are several) every little thing has been considered. The home is equally charming and fairy-talesque having been built 400-500 years ago! While there were 5 other couples also there during our stay, we felt it was still private and had no problems at all. Both evenings of our stay we enjoyed Giorgia's phenomenal 4 course themed meals. The first night she treated us to a theme of balsalmic vinegar and the second night it was fruit - paired with their wines and an excellent explanation and conversation provided by their daughter, Micol. Both nights were out of this world. Thank you ladies! Throughout our entire stay, Andrea made some wonderful suggestions for both castles, small towns and wineries to explore. We sought out as many as we could and left wishing we had more time. In summary, Tenuta CorteDomina is a rare find. The location is idyllic, the accommodations are well appointed and you leave feeling as though you made new friends. Thank you so much Andrea, Giorgia, and Micol!! We loved our stay and hope we can come back again soon. Jaime & Tim from Kansas City

We couldn’t fault this hotel it was an absolutely brilliant stay and we wish we stayed for longer! The family were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. They have made a true gem, home away from home. Our room was beautiful and bed very comfortable. So much love has gone into this hotel. We had dinner at the hotel on the first night, it was a traditional themed four course meal, made with fresh ingredients from that day, so varies day by day as to what is freshly available. It was accompanied by a wine flight from their vineyard which was so delicious. There were lots of choice for breakfast too. There are multiple relaxing areas around the property, to enjoy the views and fine weather as well as cute and cosy areas for the evenings. Great location, in Radda, a short drive from the town centre and a great base for exploring the Chianti region. It by far exceeded our expectations and we are already planning our return next year. Book now! You won’t be disappointed. Thanks so much for the most wonderful stay!
