Fattoria Poggerino is a converted monastery and the building retains some of its monastic qualities. It is somewhat somber inside. Our room was small and plain but the beds were comfortable and the shower was fabulous. The view through the small window was pure Tuscany but some rooms have a patio from where it would have been nicer to survey... More

Fairly nicely situated agriturismo, although a few kilometers outside of Radda. Up the hill another kilometer or two is the winery Castello d'Albola, which is worth a visit. The staff at Poggerino is very nice, especially Bernadetta, who makes a very nice breakfast. We stayed in the suite, which had plenty of room, but not much of a view. Not... More

For my 50th birthday celebration my wife and I decided in a week in Tuscany. After securing our cooking classes (Toscana Mia cooking lessons) we were encouraged to stay at Fattoria Poggerino. Not only was the wine produced on site - fantastic, but the hospitality was great also. The structure where most guests stay is an old converted church. The... More

Since I and my husband wanted to spent few nights in Chianti area, we chose Fattoria Poggerino and it was definitely worth it. We loved breakfast prepared with fresh local vegetable, eggs and milk, as well as delicious home-made cakes and pastries. Rooms were basic and clean, but you won’t spend much time in them, thought. We enjoyed the location,... More

Fantastic stay in la fattoria poggerino, good clean rooms, very good breakfast, all made by Bernadetta herself, and I really mean all.... Fresh yoghurt, fruit, homemade Bread and pies, omelet,.... Pool is great with a fantastic view, but you have to take a steep climb to get there.

The star of the show here was the location, sitting in the heart of Classico Chianti region, Fattoria Poggerino sits on a quiet hilltop surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and rolling hills. It is a short drive away from Radda in Chianti and the quaint hamlet of Volpaia and is ideally situated to explore the Chianti region. The b&b itself;... More

The location in peaceful hills of Tuscany among the vineyards, outside of any civilization is super refreshing and relaxing. Room was cozy and clean, with private bathroom. Exterior-vice, it is typical stone building with its own small bell, highlighting the overal atmosphere. Available on the premises was parking area, pool and garden, all with view on surrounding vineyards. Benedetta was... More

We stopped here for four days of our long honeymoon. Amazing food, scenery, and service. We would go back in a heartbeat! An absolute must. John was helpful and knowledgable about the area. The breakfast was good, the room was clean, and wine from their vineyard was available for purchase. We would love to take our family back. The pool... More

Located just an hour from Florence, Poggerino is in the perfect location. Benedetta is a great host making sure your stay is all you would expect in Tuscany. Every morning a fabulous breakfast is served on an outside patio. Fresh eggs are served along with a selection of freshly made tortes, cakes or pastries. The rooms are comfortable and charming.... On a previous trip to Tuscany, we stayed in one of the awesome hilltop towns, and had a wonderful time. But, this time, we wanted to stay out in the country, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. Fattoria Poggerino exceeded our expectations. It's a few miles from Radda, on a hillside with incredible views of the valley and the vineyards.... More
