This is a great hotel right on the beach in Aracruz. We stayed here while working but it is very relaxing, has great rooms, very clean, the restaurant serves many fish dishes and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Upon arrival one of the people I was traveling with's luggage didn't make the flight. Later they said it was delivered but not here. While on his off day the manager located it and took the gentlemen to retrieve his luggage. Very helpful and assistive. The rooms are nice and if you don't mind stairs( no elevator) room 17 is about a nice a suite you will ever get. They also have regular rooms and bungalows for more privacy. Great pool area and the hotel architecture is very appealing.

The direct access to a fantastic beach is the greatest feature, this pousada has to offer. And it is worth the 1.5h (55km) trip from the state capital Vitória to the north. The breakfast is good, the rooms are rather small and basic, there is an outdoor pool and a billiard table, wifi works, however the service is not very personal. But that beach for me even justifies the high price (which was double of a room in the best hotel in Vitória at the same time).

Stayed here in November on a business trip. The staff speaks little to no English and you can't reserve online so it was difficult to get a reservation (probably explains the lack of English reviews), but once there the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and I could make myself understood most of the time. I believe the manager speaks English, but he's not at the hotel 24/7. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with A/C, minibar, Wi-Fi, and flat screen televisions. Wi-Fi can be a little wonky depending on where you are in the hotel however. In the bungalo I was staying, the Wi-Fi didn't work at first, but I was able to fix it by fiddling with cable and resetting the router (it was attached behind one of the nightstands), but a co-worker of mine staying in one of the regular rooms had problems throughout his stay. The hotel has a pool with patio which was kept clean while I was there. There is also a beach, which didn't seem private, but I never saw anyone else on or near it. You can swim in the Ocean, but you have to walk in a few feet until there are no more rocks. The hotel restaurant was excellent, and breakfast was included. Otherwise, there is a fish restaurant within walking distance and a good pizzeria which is less than a 5 minute cab ride away. Also, if you find there are too many mosquitoes, the front desk can provide you with some bug spray.
