We went there only for coffe and some cake. We did not stay at the guest house. Firstly it was a little difficult to find a place for in this small beloved town. You should go at the upper left side of the city in order to locate it. It serves very fresh and hot apple pie. Absolutely delicious. You... More

Maybe the place is a bit expensive for what they offer -but that's just Faroes- as the rooms are pretty average and bathrooms nothing to brag about, but their staff is really nice, all is clean, the food is decent and the location is more than fantastic. It's more than worth it due to this, the place is so lovely,... More

Spent three nights here and loved it. Arrived just in time for the relaxed Faroese cultural evening held every Wedenesday and hosted with panache by Eirik. There's nowhere to eat out, but the menu option for the evening was tasty and with forewarning I was served some very tasty veggie food too. We stayed in the annex with en suite... More

While on a tour we stopped at the guesthouse for coffee. We ate a delicious crepe/pancake with rhubarb jam and cream. The dining room was rustic and pleasant. Nice little village and great views. A good place to stay for a few days of hiking.

Clean. We stayed in the annex with private bathroom. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. We took the offer to have dinner there in the evening. The food is OK, but nothing to write about. To my knowledge it is the only place to have dinner in the village. It is the location you want. The small village is amazing. We saw... More

Gjogv is a truly idyllic little town right by the sea on a stunning piece of coastline. There are a number of beautiful hikes that can be taken with the town as the starting place. The guesthouse resembles a Swiss chalet and the public areas are quite atmospheric. The owner is very professional and friendly. Apparently the rooms in the annex... More

We stayed in the annex, and everything in the room looked quite new. The room was big with lots of space for the 3 beds. It was very clean and the beds very comfortable. The dinner was tasteful. The food of the day was lamb, but since I don't eat meat they prepared a special fish dish for me. My... More

We arrived on bikes over the hill behind the village. The location is stunning. The hotel is warm and comfortable with staff who really do try to help and make your visit a great one.. The rooms are basic but finished beautifully in wood. If you are visiting this remote location you are looking for something very different from a... More

For anyone who likes remote, beautiful and pacific locations thhs would be hard to beat. Snipe dumming overhead, a redshank nesting just outside the room, arctic skuas harassing arctic terns visible from the dining room, merlin swooping on unseen prey on drive to the village. It's just minutes walk from the sea and cliff-top walk. Rooms quiet and comfortable. Staff... More

This guesthouse is a great place to be. Friendly staff. Rooms are delivering the basics. Bathroom is small but does the job. TV available in room. The only restaurant is here as well. Good homemade food. The dining room is also sitting room for a beer or glass of wine. Parking and WiFi are free. Breakfast is buffet style. Muesli,... More
