This is not that we booked. It is a very small not really clean room. The bathroom is absolutely disguisting. Old, rusty tub with a bath curtain. Do we live in the 90s? The toilet is dirty and cannot clean the red stains from it. Why am I celaning it? 2 of 3 doors not working in the room. Cannot close or open these normally. There are no space for the clothes and suitcases. Only one small table for the TV. The pool opens late and closing early. The breakfast is OK but the same 3 optional menu every morning. The restaurant, the hall and the first floor is ok. These are renovated. But the second floor... I have never paid so bad room before. Don't believe to the pictures. Look at my pictures!
Whilst the website is slightly out of date indicating airport transfers and an evening meal that are no longer available this small hotel is a delight! We had a large en-suite room with a large private terrace with lovers doors from the bedroom giving it a traditional villa feel The room and bathroom were both clean and modern and cleaned almost every day. Rainfall shower . The bedroom had a useful fridge The hotel has a lovely saltwater pool with terrace that some days we had to ourselves It is only open 9am to 8pm but with only a 3 minute walk to the beach I swam there first thing most morning Pool towels are provided and breakfast was generous if perhaps a little limited in choice Free Wi-Fi and a book exchange library For 2 stars this hotel more than delivers and we would recommend to anybody…
We stayed in this small hotel for a week during a birding trip to Mallorca - it is relatively close to the best birding sites of the island: e.g. Parc Natural de s’Albufera and the Boquer Valley. It is also MUCH more peaceful than the nearby Port of Pollença and Alcudia. The hotel is small and was relatively quiet - both great assets in our view. Other assets were the terraced bar, with excellent beer, and the restaurant. For some reason the restaurant was extremely quiet in the evenings, where a daily menu was available with three courses with a choice from two starters, two mains and a dessert, and a drink - for 23 Euros per person. Every dinner we had was excellent and home cooked, and it was surprising to us why it wasn’t more popular. The breakfasts, which were included with our deal, were also excellent, and much more popular. They had loads of different sorts of breads and pastries, along with cold meats, cheese and fruit, and a freshly boiled egg. The only thing missing was yoghurt. The rooms were simple and clean, with a ceiling fan and air con (which we didn’t use). The en suite bathroom could have done with a little modernisation, but was clean and functioned well. Overall our stay was first rate, and this was due in no small part to Ramon and the other staff who were all so friendly and helpful…
Popped in for drinks, very nice terrace bar, friendly chatty staff. They have a picture circa 1971 of the resort which interestingly the bar guy talked me through. Although we only had drinks I was really impressed with how pristine the hotel is and would definitely consider booking on our return.
The hotel is small and clean with a lovely deck to relax on. Breakfest was good they have a small bar that is open at night. The rooms appeared to be recently upgraded and were nicely decorated. It is about a five minute walk to the beach and they provide beach towels. For the area the price was good and there is ample free parking.
Can't recommend Hostal Oriola enough. It is perfectly located just a short walk from the beach, and we had a hard time believing the decor and comfort and amenities we got for the price point. Everything is lovingly thought out, from the complimentary breakfast to the lovely set of books available for guests to borrow behind the reception desk. Best of all, Ramon and Luis were so warm and attentive, and made us feel right at home. We hope to be back sooner rather than later!
Very good value for rate paid. Room is basic but clean, spacious and ok. Towels and sheets are changed only once a week. Balcony nice. Pool area nice. Breakfast ist basic but very nice. Atmosphere is familiar, friendly and not complicated.
The word Hostal can sometimes be misleading. Do not be put of by this word. This is not a Hostel but a quaint little Hotel. Yes its simple in what it offers but Ramon and Pedro (Two brothers who own and run the Hotel) are so attentive, helpful and ameniable that the service you receive is better than the so called Quality hotels. Because it is relatively small in number of rooms you are looked after personally. Both Ramon and Pedro take time to converse with the quests (They both speak at least four languages). Even when the hotel is full it has a feeling of tranquility especially around the pool. The continental Breakfast is simple but sufficient to start your day. And when we were there Ramon cooked a wonderful Paella on the Sunday. The rooms are simple but clean. We requested (and were given) a room overlooking the street. These rooms receive an evening sunset. If you email the hotel direct the rates are better than on any of the websites and Ramon will arrange Transfers for you at around !6 Euros P/P each way. We've stayed in Cala San Vincente a few times. Previously at The Simar which is not for us. So, If you like a quiet, simple, clean and friendly little Hotel then this could be the place for you.…
Basic, clean, efficient and the two owners are very friendly and helpful. The room was large and adequate, breakfast OK and the pool was well maintained and peaceful. Cheapish bar and well situated for the town's beach and restaurants. Turn left out the pension and walk 50m to find the wonderful Modesta restaurant. I only wish I had visited here twenty or so years ago as the resort is unfortunately quite over-developed.
We had a wonderful time in Mai 2017 at this hostel. We stayed some days to enjoy some days at the beautiful beach of San Vicente and to hike a little bit in the surroundings. Thank to the hosts, two brothers from the village itself, our stay was unforgettable :)
