We stayed here for two nights on a short break sans enfants! We booked through Sawdays with no problems at all. It is a wonderful place in a quiet village just outside Boulogne. There are two restaurants in the village - the closest one is excellent, with superb food at great prices, but everyone else in the area knows that... More

Communication is non existent. After several emails and phone calls, we have received lip service with regards to a booking. We given the out expensive room rate and when asking for a cheaper room, no reply! Either they do not care on having overseas customer, or they are gone checking on the cows for the foreseeable future. Will never recommend... More

we stayed only for one night, before heading off to our gite for a week. Although I had reserved directly with the owner she asked me when we arrived whether I had booked with her sister at her B&B. Once this confusion was sorted and we were shown our rooms we were served a glass of white wine and some nibbles.... More

Echinghen isn't really near anything, but it's well located for an overnight stop before heading across the channel, or as the first night in France if you're coming the other way. And the little village is blessed with not one, but two good restaurants. But we're talking here about the B&B, and that's the reason you're here. And from reading... More

Once again staying at this B&B is a pleasure. As we stay here at least twice per year we have got to know our hosts a little more and their welcome is never failing. We appear to have our 'own room' now as we are regularly given the same room - like going home. An early breakfast so that we... More

Completely agree with all the other reviewers. Lovely hosts, good breakfast, comfortable rooms, beautiful house in very pretty village. And it is handy for the autoroute and the ferry terminals! What more can you want!

We have been here several times-it is always excellent. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, the breakfast copious and the hosts delightful. It is really well placed for ferries, restaurants etc and there are 2 within walking distance. One is always open on Sundays and Mondays, rare in France. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

We stayed here on our way to the south of France as a stop over. So much better than the usual motorway hotels! A very friendly host, and a peaceful environment, perfect to shake off the woes from our busy London life and start the holidays. We didn't have a lot of time to hang around (as we had a... More

After spending two weeks in France, my husband and myself stayed at this delightful B&B the night before our return ferry crossing. It was a little difficult to find (due to husbands poor navigation skills) but on arrival we were given a warm welcome, and complimentary wine. The setting was beautiful and the room was great. The bed provided a... More

I tried to put this review on just after we went in June 2012 but Tripadvisor hadn't got it listed. I googled it to recommend it to some friends today and find it is now on the list. This is a wonderful place to stop, very welcoming with some lovely touches including a welcoming glass of chilled rose wine on... More
