We had a lovely weekend at Augill as a celebration for our daughters 18th & sons 21st birthdays. We stayed in The Little Castle which was warm , Beautifully decorated , and had everything we needed. The kitchen was small but enough for what we needed, lovely bathrooms , gorgeous comfortable beds & luxurious linen & towels. The rooms in the main castle where we relaxed with drinks & played cards & games in front of the fire were absolutely beautiful - just as you’d expect a castle to be. Breakfast in the library on day 1 was delicious and we especially enjoyed a visit from the little cocker spaniel ❤️ Our meal on the Saturday night was one of the best we have ever had! Would love to visit in the spring or summer to enjoy more of the grounds & outdoor seating areas- perhaps also a game of tennis! The staff were attentive & service was excellent. We stayed at the hotel 4 nights and had the loveliest time. The property is beautifully decorated, the rooms are chic, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the food absolutely delicious. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. It has a wonderfully luxurious yet homely feel to it. We will definitely be back soon!

We spent a pleasant relaxing weekend at Augill Castle which was overall a success. Our room was extremely comfortable, and the staff, when we could find them, pleasant and helpful. Our dining plans were marred by nobody telling us that there is not a full restaurant service on Sunday or Monday nights. Nor was there ever anyone on reception to ask.

Nigel So glad you and Patsy enjoyed your stay. I am confused as to why you were unaware of our dining arrangements as we had discussed this when you booked earlier in the year, they are explained in our confirmation emails, pre-arrival emails, on the website and in the room file. We do try to be available but reception is not manned 24 hours, but the kitchen door is always open. I am told however, that, while you don't usually like pizza, ours went down a treat! What a wonderful experience staying in this beautiful castle. Stayed for a couple of nights with my family in the interconnecting suite. Everything was faultless, from the quirkiness of the rooms to the food served by excellent staff I really can’t praise Augill Castle highly enough. Wendy is a fantastic host, really makes you feel at home. We will definitely be returning!

We have just had a really special night away with my parents and our medically vulnerable daughter. The team at Augill Castle went above and beyond to make everyone feel safe and comfortable. Their Covid-secure policies were excellent. The rooms were super clean and absolutely stunning. Having the opportunity to have a safe change of scenery, in such wonderful surroundings, was very special. The food was all delicious with excellent service throughout. We'll be back!
