Christmas shopping does have its advantages! As my wife was away & a friend came to stay, we had supper at The Woolpack Inn. Really good menu with excellent choice of specials - real focus on locally sourced produce! Venison liver with mash and gravy to die for and all on a bed of trendy cabbage - cannot recommend highly... More

We with friends a group of 10, we all live locally but had never been before. We were all very sad impressed, the standard of food and nice friendly staff. The prices were reasonable from £12 - £18 for a main course. The pub itself was charming, log fires, old beams, an outside pizza oven and a lovely private dining... More

We stayed here for the night and had dinner in the restaurant. The manager checking us in could have given a warmer welcome. No 'how was your journey', 'where have you come from etc'. There was just a lot of charm missing about the place. Things went downhill though after he clocked off though- The loo in the (tiny) ensuite... More

The Woolpack In Totford has sun brollies bearing the Nyetimber brand and, without having to venture further, you have the sense that this is an upmarket kind of country pub. When most brollies merely espouse the virtues of the Amber Nectar, any brolly promoting the premier English brand of fizz is going to have an immediate sense of superiority over... More

This Inn is part of a group and it shows. We got off to a poor start with an over familiar greeting and a wretchedly casual registration. An owner manager would be unlikely to address my wife and I as 'You Guys'. Employees who have been hard pressed all day and still have a gang of over-excited lunch guests lingering... More

Probably best to book for Sunday lunch. Clearly very popular at that time. They squeezed us in so a big thank you. The food was very good if a bit expensive for what it was. The staff were friendly, welcoming, attentive and, it has to said, a bit a bit flaky depending on who was dealing with you. Very dog... More

We loved our room - nice attention to detail. Large bath - big enough for two. Fresh milk in the fridge. Clean and warm. Peaceful location. Delicious food and a lovely welcome from 'Paul' at the bar. We know we will always be your 'favourite customers'!!!! The breakfast was substantial with something for every taste. We will definitely be back.

This pub is in a nice country location. We had a nice spacious room with large bathroom. The pub its self is mostly given over to dining with just a couples of tables in the bar for just drinks. We had a really enjoyable meal. The menu is very varied and has lots of game dishes. The partridge curry was... More

There was a group of us who stayed here. Had a few cider in the pub and hit the hay. Had a great breakfast in the morning with local yogurt bacon and eggs homemade bread. Would highly recommend staying here.

I stayed here prior to a work event, and as i drove up to it in the middle of nowhere, i did wonder where i had booked. That changed when i walked in, it was a lovely old fashioned but modern pub. Nice bar and restaurant area and a welcoming host. A quick check in and showed to my room.... More
