Sujan Jawai is a modern, luxury tented camp. The accommodation, food, campfires at night, staff/service is all first class. We were able to see 3 leopards on our safaris so we were extremely pleased. They have dedicated trackers that spot the leopards and then communicate their location to the guides who take the guests out in the jeeps. Really well organised. Would definitely recommend Sujan Jawai to anyone who wants to ensure they see leopards in a luxurious environment.

We had an exciting few days staying in this peaceful luxury camp. Shantharam our guide found leopards camouflaged in the rocks and we had several close encounters with excellent photographic opportunities. The scenery is stunning and the staff very friendly and helpful. We have been to India many times and this is our favourite place.

For me this was the highlight of our holiday. Last time we visited only for 2 nights, this time for 4. Vedant, head of field operations, was assigned to us throughout our stay, together with Chagon a tracker and driver. Fiona Caulfield (writer of guidebook Love Jaipur) arrived for two nights. EVERYONE should try to visit Jawai. The leopards which are completely wild are simply magical and with Vedant and Chagon we had the most fantastic sightings. The countryside is beautiful and empty except for the local tribes people. A really special place and one I will happily return to. We did a cooking session, which was fun and I now have the recipes to try at home. Definitely worth doing. The manager is Megha and has been since inception. Her husband was at Sujan Sher Bagh temporarily, but is the Jawai camp manager. Megha is great and from her we learnt buk, buk the word for chatter! The food at Jawai is great, Indian or international and they have their own organic garden and source organic produce from the local farmers. One day we went to see the Jain Temple at Ranakpur about 1.5hours away and definitely worth the visit. From there we went on to Kumalgargh too much in one day and not good roads. Great looking fort but not much to see inside and only worth a detour if going from Udaipur to Ajmer/Jodphur. It has the second longest wall at 27 miles after the Great Wall of China!

Superlative luxury and service ! Wonderful food and setting ! This is as good as it gets .... THE most glamorous wild life camp in Jawai ! They also let you be very close to the wild life with their smartly and glamorously designed tents ..... unlike the concrete blocks excessively loaded with unwanted clutter . The common areas and the pool too are top notch ! Expensive but worth it .....

This place is absolutely magical. The staff are polite and attentive, and will try their best to go the extra mile for you. Special Mention : THAKUR - He's always there for us, and remembers all our little preferences; and VERDANT - He's the master of Leopards, and never fails to find us something interesting. Despite his eye injury, he pushed on with his duties. Salute. No words can do justice to Sujan Jawai. We went there for my birthday, and stayed in the Royal Tented Suite for 3 nights. We wanted to stay an extra night but that was not available and moved to a family tent for two of us. There IS a difference in the Royal Tented Suite - Royal. Personal Butler, Privacy, and you basically have your own holiday, regardless of what else and who else was in the resort. Even though we had to move, sadly on the last day to a Family Tent, the staff very kindly extended their hospitality towards our stay even though we had shifted out. Everything felt special. The drives, the private dinners, the special sundowner (with crocodiles in attendance), the extra private activities. The attentiveness of the staff, and the way they ensure that you are in no way inconvenienced, or disappointed. The food was amazing. My husband loved the Indian cuisine. I am rather particular about my diet and the source of the food, and I was amazed to see their garden where all the vegetables came from! The leopards were elusive and the staff tried their best to ensure that we were kept entertained during our drives. We had the customized Maruti-Suzuki jeep (which is crazy the way it eats up the terrain) to ourselves, and this made all the difference. I could stop anywhere, anytime, for my photographs, and the staff even helped to ask the Rabaris pose for shots. Every moment, every day felt special. Forget the price-point. You need to go there at least once to experience what SUPERLATIVE means. 6 Stars if I could give it!
