We have stopped at Old Dadswell Town a couple of times and it is fantastic for us. It is dog friendly which suits our needs and the accommodation is great for us. It is back from the busy and noisy western highway and the quirky signs & items are fantastic. There is spacious camp kitchen for groups and lots of...

We felt like we have travelled back in time upon arrival at Old Dadswell Town. It is a cluster of self contained cabin of different vintage themes like bakery, post office, general store, barber etc. All the cabins are nicely decorated, clean and well equipped. It will be perfect if there is an oven in the cabin too. As you...

What a fantastic stop over on the Melbourne to Adelaide route. Just on the Stawell side of Horsham and near the Giant Koala. A good locale to break the drive. There are so many quirky and inspired Australiana laughs to be had here. Clean and well appointed 'theme based' cabins make your stop over an easy care free one but...

Perfect for a quiet getaway with friends to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Mad Max and Jenny were absolutely awesome hosts so many great stories and laughs around the fire at night. Accommodation was clean, well put together, very fun, good quality linen and lots to enjoy! Thanks for having us, we'll be back again for sure! Danielle, Axel, Adrienne and...

Max is a great character and what work has been put into the "town"! Rooms shown were of highest standard and full of character, as was the common area/bar. Max obviously...

Stayed overnight here, chose the cabins because we were travelling with small dog and the cabins are dog friendly. Nice little 2 bedroom cabins with air conditioning. Everything worked well and was reasonably well equipped for overnight stay, would take more cooking utensils etc if staying longer. Very clean with nice bedding and towels. Would recommend to anyone travelling with...

We tripped over old dadswell town whilst browsing for accommodation near Horsham. My girlfriend decided that the "bakery" would suit me down to a t. Cabin was clean and very comfortable, very quiet too. You need to byo food and drink with a microwave and cooktop in the cabin. Whilst it is only a small place, it is open for...
