Room / Arrival - Arrived very late at night - no food in fridge like others mentioned, night man managed to get a tuna sandwich for our son (15 years). Room also very smelly, had to clean with hand sanitizer. Reception did sort next day (as in cleaned and gave late check out). Room very basic (and bathroom mouldy) , nothing like the website. Dressing gowns had holes in and 3 persons in room but only 2 provided, so disappointing considering the price paid. Bed was very comfortable though, and bedding was clean and the pillows were good. Main Food - Initial thoughts was impressive, very good selection and hot, also varied every day (for first 7 days). Then by day 8 noticed things like at lunch one day was a rice dish called 'Paella' (looked and tasted similar to the Spanish Paella), but then at night noticed the same dish but it was called 'Burani Rice', same with potatoes, one day they were roast then they became something like Dum Dum Potatoes (both looked and tasted the same). The major issues was the queue for the popular crepes at breakfast, only one person doing two at a time, so the queue was ridiculous they need a second person and cooking grill (one person alone can order 2 - 3 crepes). Greek Restaraunt, was nice but very meat heavy (Greek way maybe), Stars and Stripes was the best food we had the whole holiday (well worth going to). The bad thing is the Stars and Stripes was closed by 22 October 2022, even though hotel website states October, and end of hotel season was 31 October 2022, so the guests for the last week paid for something (included in all-inclusive) they could not get. Snack bar - first couple of times again impressed, burgers, hotdogs, carbonara (very tasty), tomato pasta, chicken / beef wraps. But it was these items every day, so soon got boring. Ice cream (whippy) is serviced 2-4 at pool bar and is nice. Drinks - The normal except Water and Milk-Shakes being EXCLUDED from the basic All Inclusive is very wrong, because this literally left children with POP / Cocktails made of POP as their only drink option included in the price. No non sugar / healthy options at all. Personally this is not a big ask to be included for the health of a child. Pool bar some nice staff, Nico, Alexandra and Stefanos, but serving needs to improve as they concentrate on the queues from the people not using the swim up bar, so you sit on the stools waiting quite a while to get served. Easy to sort i'm sure. Daytime entertainment - I have never seen (seen a bit strong) such a poor animation team in all the time I have been on all-inclusive holidays. The activities actually provided did not match the hotel website or the holiday companies websites, NO Archery or Waterpolo even though advertised, no goals on tennis/football court so tennis/football offered. The actual minimal activities offered are the same every week, do not always run (with no explanation), the only time you here the animation team (so you are reminded they are there) is when they get on the mike to let you know they are about to do their aqua gym or there after noon dance routine. They did not have any energy / get up and go etc so did not try and get holiday makers involved. Also the activities that did run have no age limit, turned up for the morning boules to find 4 under 8 year olds also playing in bare feet (weight of the boules, broken toes waiting to happen). So I asked to borrow the boules so some adults could get a game on the beach. When I went to get them the animation person, the bar cleaner and another member of staff were playing. (Animation teams break appeared to be 12-3). Beach Volley ball again some 5 year olds on the court with older kids. Basically the animation team / hotel is set up for under 13 years old NOT for older kids at all. Nightime entertainment - Animation team do this and again for younger children (even the so called ADULT time frame), which was full of young children taking up seats so it was a struggle to get a seat to watch the adult entertainment even if you wanted to. (ONE external act) in the 12 nights we were there and he got cross coz he was a hypnotist with over 30 years experience and did not believe the audience when NONE of them had their hands stuck together. From an entertainment point of view it was funny and worth watching for the first time (and a significant improvement on the rest of the entertainment). One night the ADULT section involved audience participation and they had to see how long they could keep 3 balloons in the air, wrap one of them in toilet roll the quickest. (I appreciate this is funny for children especially if their dad/mum involved, but it is not adult entertainment). By adult entertainment it obviously needs to be child friendly but something more than the animation team doing OK shows (then repeated), something like a magician, professional dance acts etc. Wednesday - a magical/casino night is run and NOT included in the all inclusive, you need to but a cocktail to get chips, but it is very worth it, the gentleman running it is amazing and funny, very very enjoyable night. (6-8 euro cocktail). Area - Easy 40 minutes walk to harbour, some shops / cafes / pharmacist etc just up the road ( 2 minute walk). Bus 611 does stop just outside and costs 1.50 euros each way to harbour (they do not do return tickets), make sure you child has a top on as the bus drivers are quite rude and will drive off an leave you if you are not dressed properly. If say visiting Coral Bay the day ticket is good as 2 buses are required so cheaper at 5 euros each. Pitch and Putt (10 -15 minute walk) is worth a visit, good fun trying to avoid the water. Summarise - If you have children aged 13 years or younger then they will probably have a great time and have the animation team with them. The hotel is nice but really needs to review what it is offering for the 4 stars. Either advertise correctly the age range for the hotel so people are aware the hotel (in every area) is over run with young children (NO older teens / adult sections at all, not at mealtimes or evening entertainment / drink times). Replace / sort the animation team coz they let the holiday down for us due to us having a 15 year old, so quite bored at times. Shame to be honest as could be a great hotel and according to some people we spoke to who had been before the hotel used to be great, but sadly has now changed. A few tweaks and this could be the place to go. The last thing YOU DO NOT need to reserve sun beds there are absolutely loads and loads. Oh and the morning gardeners / cleaners are lovely people and work very hard. We met some great people and did have a nice time, just not the great time we were expecting.

Visited the hotel for two nights. The hotel is all inclusive with out option. The breakfast was very good but my disappointment was with lunch. Very frozen staff in the menu. We did not stay for dinner so i do not have an opinion. The communal areas was renovated, cleaned and friendly. The rooms was under 3* hotel but it was passable. We found a lot of hair in the bedsheets. We had with us un infant and they provide a crib in a very bad position, so the baby slept with us. The shower it was not comfortable to shower the baby and in some parts it was broken. The cleaning lady came both days at 13:30 o’clock and the baby was sleeping so they did not clean the room the 2 days that we stayed. Thanks to receptionist that gave us some more time at check out so that was very very helpful for us. The staff at the playground was very polite and friendly. All of the staff was very professional and friendly. The all inclusive bar was not as expected. Overall I have been to better hotels all inclusive with better prices. For 2 days I think it was not worth it.

Great location right next to a sandy beach, we watched the sunset over the sea every evening. Water sports available from the beach, including parasailing and jet skis. The buffet was not what we are used to, very similar dishes made from the same raw ingredients every day. The fresh fruit was only apples, bananas, oranges and grapefruit every day, a missed opportunity to use fruit in season. Plenty of gluten free options except for on the Italian and Chinese themed nights. I recommend asking ahead and ordering gluten free pizza for those days. I didn't and was disappointed to have seafood rice yet again. At breakfast the wait for gluten free bread was 10 minutes, so again, order the night before. Excellent dancers, singers and musicians for the evening entertainment in three locations around the hotel. A real plus for this hotel. Lovely morning yoga and pilates too with friendly staff. The indoor pool was slightly warmer than the outdoor one and hardly used so we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves. Not quite enough to do onsite for our age children (8 & 10) so we left the hotel for lunch each day which meant we got to see a lot more of the island. Cyprus is clean, friendly and there is lots to see and do. Overall, a good base for a family holiday.

We went to Leonardo Cypria Bay in April 2022 and had absolutely amazing time! Both families with kids (8 and 2 y.o.) and it was absolutely perfect with the location, the hotel is very close to the airport (handy when travelling with little kids) and the beach was so close too, you could go back to get snacks and drinks. Yes, the water in the pool is cold, beware, but older kids didn't seem to mind that. Water in the sea was warmer even in the beginning of April. Food was good, and the drinks also, we've made our money back on Margaritas alone haha. We loved the staff, everyone was so very polite and you get a lot of service, even by the pool area, very good! The hotel is not too big which is a great bonus too! We went to the sister hotel with waterpark, and kids were over the moon! We could also eat and drink there on our all inclusive bracelet! We would love to come back and definitely can recommend it to anyone!

We spent 5 nights with 2 kids in family swim-up room. Positive: - The hotel and room is nice and clean. - The food was tasty and had a lot of variety, except for children (which was basically the same for every single lunch and dinner) - Big thanks for the animators, they were all great! Lot of great programs for adults and kids, both! Our kids did not want to miss not a single mini-disco. Negative: - The water in the pool is veeeery cold. Kids started to freeze after 5-8 minutes. Inside pool is not heated either. - Although there is also an a la carte restaurant, which you can use once during your stay, it is almost imossible to get a table (we finally managed after some difficulties) but you better book a table already on your arrival! We did not (because we were not aware we should) and had some conflicts with the host.

Not long returned from our family holiday and can't speak highly enough of our experience. Hotel was wonderful, clean throughout and rooms attended to every day. Restaurant was full of options which changed each day and not repetitive. The staff were attentive, accommodating, and had a smile on their face which says so much. Also a huge appreciation to the Entertainment Team who made sure activities were enjoyed by all those taking part, big thanks to Roni, Evan, Caitlin and all the team. My two sons (Finlay & Olly) had a fabulous time and forward to our return next year!! We highly recommend this hotel and all it offers.

Truly fantastic hotel. Stayed there with the family and we had a birthday within our group. The hotel kindly provided (without prompting) a birthday cake and a complimentary bottle. Throughout we were treated fantastically (especially the welcome from David). Great food, clean hotel, too top notch service.
