I have never stayed in such a filthy hotel as this. The carpet had crumbs and food all over it, stains of who knows what on the sofa, mould all over the window frames and panes, the bathroom was appaling with mould and hairs everywhere. This place is skin to a homeless hostel with shady eastern European men drinking and... More

Booked two single rooms each taking a dog. To be fair this hotel IS VERY CHEAP and the male only Pakistani staff were friendly and very dog tolerant, .BUT the rooms are VERY VERY DIRTY with flick /cobwebs in the radiators that had NOT been cleaned FOR YEARS. Bits of god knows what under the bed and behind the bedside... More

I'm massively supprised this place is allowed to trade. It's disgusting. Avoid at all costs unless you are planning a strange horror themed weekend. Dodgy electrics, mould everywhere, strange smells and lifeless staff. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and this is the worst by miles.

Wish we'd never bothered, disgustingly dirty got charged £45 for a double room even though it clearly stated on the big sign in the entrance saying £40, when I spoke to a member of staff about this they said that was weekday prices but couldn't point out to me where on the sign it said that. Wouldn't even attempt it... More

As the title implies, this is the second worst hotel that I have ever stayed in. I pre-booked a £40 double room with free WiFi and Victorian Décor. The room was just about large enough to accommodate the double bed, it had no chair and no WiFi. The radiator in the shower room was rusty and the décor was shabby.... More

Oh dear. Awful. I should have read the reviews on here before I booked. The staff were lovely but oh no, the room was horrible, bedding clean but made of solid concrete (it felt like), and horrific mouldy filthy bathroom. I feel bad saying this as it was at least cheap. Cigarette ends and rubbish around the outside. Embarrassing really... More

We booked a "superior" room for 2 nights as we were attending a family birthday. If we had a superior room, I dread to think of the standard. The only good thing was the bed was clean. We had to ask for an additional towel as there was only one. We were supposed to have an iron, desk, fan, alarm... More
