Second visit to this resort. As usual management and staff try hard and the location of this resort really helps. Very chaotic over the Christmas period with a badly organised attempt to relocate restaurant and pool facilities at peak period to beach front which was disruptive and very badly handled. Food is very average and overpriced with far to many... More

I stayed at the Samui Beach Village resort end of September. I had expected a lot given the beautiful pictures. When I arrived they did check my in early and the staff was rather friendly. As I made my way down the beach, the beach was really a place where you couldn't swim as the water is way too shallow... More

The Samui Beach Village is a total scam. The photos they show on their site and what the place actually looks like is a complete let down. Horrible service and the most terrible staff.. this is one place not worth staying at ! We had paid a full advance for our week long stay prior to our arrival. On our... More

We were disappointed with the Ocean View Rooms. Beds very hard. No chair to sit on in room. Sea way , way out. Couldn't swim there. Had to go away to beaches. They did have shuttles to other beaches, but we had to taxi back. Not suitable for children. No phones in unit, cell ph available. Restaurant very good, but... More

We had stayed at pool villa here a few years ago and loved the quiet location, beautiful empty of people beach and hot shallow water. Easy walks to local restaurants and a daily walk to relax massage parlor where 4 ladies give wonderful inexpensive massages under a thatched roof open sided building We went back this year to what we... We stayed at two villas at S B V in late Feb 2013. Both overall were excellent. I’ll start with some general comments/info on S B V Good stuff • Local Thai staff were all excellent and could not do enough for us • The pools were cleaned and the garden area’s swept for fallen leaves every morning. The house... More

We stayed in a 4 bedroom villa at Samui Beach Village for 4 nights. The nice thing about the stay was the villa itself. It was quite nice looking on the inside, and had a private pool. Unfortunately, the positives ended there. There were a lot more negatives: * Not close to anything. If you're going to stay here you... More

We recently spent a few nights at Samui Beach Village to celebrate my 50th BDay in Oct 2012. We stayed in an upstairs 2 bedroom apartment with our own private pool & easy access to the beach. We were a family of 4 and this restort was ideal. Its just a short stroll across to the open zoo and aquarium.... More
