We happened upon this delightful small hotel on our recent motorcycling holiday in Spain. Now it depends what you are looking for but this hotel, just a kilometre from the main road, has the homely feel of a good UK bed and breakfast in a small, modern hotel building situated in a deeply rural setting. Perhaps its greatest strength is the care shown by the two sisters who run the hotel, Ana and Puli, for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. Great service, spotlessly clean, light and airy...we will stay here again.

Called here on the offchance of a spare room and was lucky. The hotel is in a small hamlet that, unusually for Spain, has NO barking dogs...bliss!!! The two sisters who run the hotel represent the very best in Spanish hospitality, smiling, friendly, generous, you're made to feel that they really care. From the hotel you can walk as far as you want, the countryside in sping is gorgeously cloaked in wild lavender plus a plethora of other flowers and shrubs. About ten minutes from the hotel is a generous spring that creates a small stream, apparently at a constant 18C at the source. The spring is surrounded by trees, affording welcome shade for a quiet read in the middle of nowhere. Downhill from the village flows a river, while uphill brings one to some woods. A delightful area with pure clean air that fuels quite an appetite. The dinners are reasonably priced and copious. A place to return to!
