Surpassing limits, taking in new horizons, savouring the feeling of boundless freedom: That’s never been easier than at Alpin Panorama Hotel Hubertus in Olang. The family-run hotel at the heart of the Dolomites has been pushing the boundaries for years – in terms of both hospitality and architecture. From May, Hubertus will shine with a new architectural masterpiece, which – like its spectacular Sky Pool – floats between sky and earth: Heaven & Hell, the elegant platform that is turning wellness upside down – quite literally. An awe-inspiring view leads the gaze from high to low. Between the bright blue sky and the idyllic valley floats the extraordinary wellness area that overshadows everything that came before. The elegant huts, some of which are positioned upside down on the underside of the graceful platform, are reminiscent of the traditional mountain cabins that adorn the gentle high-Alpine meadows in this unique setting. Heaven & Hell is the name of this spectacular, free-floating steel platform with two floors, which is connected to the hotel’s new relaxation room via an elegant walkway and gives guests a new perspective of wellness. The visitor’s gaze drifts far out over valley and mountains until it reaches the world’s most stunning structure: the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. While the pleasantly warm water gently caresses their bodies in the lie-down or seated whirlpools on the upper level, peace seekers surrender to the beauty of nature and feel like they’ve reached Heaven. On the lower level, where the laws of gravity are seemingly suspended, wellness is turned upside down. In Hell, as the nude area is known, things really heat up. As well as two saunas and a nude whirlpool, guests can look forward to an ice room and a heavenly view of the mountains.

Wonderful ski vacation with family in the Dolomites. Great design hotel with an amazing sky pool. Rooms are spacious, dinner showcases local cuisine. A plus is the schüttle service that brings you directly to the ski lift. Stress free. Ayurveda massage is amazing. Will visit again after the new renovations!

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed at Hubertus for the first time. Found the hotel on Instagram and booked a week in the Belvedere room. The room was great, spacious and a nice view. The service in the hotel is splendid and makes one feel at home. The staff and the family really understand what hospitality is. Besides the food is great and the wellness is great. We really recommend this hotel and will definitely book it again.

Love, love, love this hotel. All our expectations were surpassed. Arrived at 4.30pm after a 3 hour drive from Venice airport. Greeted with a drink and the wonderful “Wellness” buffet! The views are stunning. The food is gorgeous and plentiful and the staff are a credit to the hotel. Particular thanks to Tatiana and Anne Marie who looked after us so well both at dinner and breakfast. They were incredibly helpful and good humoured. In fact all staff greeted us day and night with smiles and a cheerful Buongiorno. Loads of deck chairs and some really cool swings to relax in the gardens in between dips in the incredible infinity pool which is cantilevered against the mountain. As a family of four we took one of the family rooms which worked very well. Beautiful view from the bedroom terrace. We used the hotel as a base for some wonderful hikes (Drei Zennen, lago di Braies, Seceda) Leaving early each morning but always back in time for the afternoon buffet. Loads to do in this beautiful area and Alpin Panorama Hubertus is truly a jewel in the crown. Thank you family Gasser for making us feel so welcome.

My wife and I just finished a 7 night stay at Alpin Panorama Hotel Hubertus. We were attracted by the strong ratings, and of course, the fabulous infinity pool. There was so much more, however. We loved the steam room/cave, jacuzzis, sauna, and the whole experience. The rooms were spacious, efficient, and comfortable. Every morning we were afforded a spectacular Mountain View. The food at the hotel was expansive and tasty. There were lots of choices. It’s good that we went on lots of hikes, as I’m sure we put on some pounds from all the delicious meals. All the servers were friendly and helpful. You can tell that they take pride in their hotel. Highlights of our stay included the hiking/tobogganing experience, the snowshoe excursion, and the manager’s hut party up at the chalet above the hotel. All of the activities provided by the hotel were awesome, and the guides were excellent! We can’t wait to return soon!

We stayed for 6 days in January and it was the best start to the year we could ever have imagined! We enjoyed it so much we booked again for next year at checkout. This hotel has real 5 star service - friendly, helpful and professional without being over the top. All of the staff are wonderful! The food was unbelievable. 6 courses a la carte every night with an extensive and varied buffet breakfast and lunch. Wine menu was excellent and well priced and we enjoyed our evenings at the bar with Karol and Abdelleh who were fantastic. So entertaining and knowledgeable! We tried some awesome cocktails and local spirits. There is so much to do on the weekly activity schedule that we did not even get around to skiing but the lifts are literally 3 mins away by shuttle. The highlight of the week was a hike up to the hotel's chalet for a party hosted by the Gasser family. So much fun! The spa facilities are the best I have ever seen. So much choice of pools and saunas with the most breathtaking views. No photos can do the SkyPool justice - we cannot wait to see the new developments next year. The hotel itself is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Room was huge with a freestanding bath looking over the mountains and super comfy bed. There are so many areas to rest and relax around the hotel both inside and out that you are spoiled for choice. There is nothing remotely negative to say about this hotel or its staff. I am counting down the days until we return... :-)

I booked this hotel based on the incredibly consistent positive reviews and stunning images of the building / grounds displayed on the Hubertus website. Of the three hotel locations I booked for our two weeks in Südtirol I looked forward to this one the most. My husband and I were not disappointed, Hubertus is a dreamy accommodation. The heated pools, saunas, hot tubs and stream rooms were a lovely end to each day we spent hiking. There are three hotel bunnies that roam freely during the good-weather days on one level of the outdoor green space. Watching them from the infinity pool was such a treat. I could go on about the friendly, capable front desk staff, skilled waitstaff and the excellent spa experience (thank you to Steffi for the best facial I've ever had and Daniela for the back massage that corrected damage done by an airplane seat), but I'd rather touch on an aspect of the culinary experience that I haven't seen addressed previously in the Hubertus reviews. Prior to booking a stay at the Hubertus I searched this Tripadvisor review page for the word "vegan". No results. As a vegan visiting Südtirol I fully expected (and respected) that there would probably be a limited offering among the 3/4 board accommodation. Fair is fair, local dishes are almost solely meat and dairy based. Hubertus had quite a surprise in store for me. Every single dish in the buffet area had ingredients identified for allergens (gluten, eggs, dairy, soy, etc) as well as dietary preference (vegan, vegetarian). Even the spread of local breads, rolls and crackers had a laminated breakdown of ingredients posted. Soya milk is available for cappuccino and lattes at any meal. All of the food was the highest quality. Breakfast included vegan chia seed pudding, avocado toast, rice milk, soy milk, green juice, cereals and fresh fruit as well as salad. Non-Vegans: you can eat any animal you've driven by on the scenic mountain roads as well as the foods they labor to produce (cold cuts, eggs cooked to your liking, probably 20 different cheeses and 4 variations of butter). During the afternoon "snack" ( basically an entire meal spread) I enjoyed salad with beans available for protein, two days of vegan soups, breads, fruit and antipasti vegetables. There is a similarly decadent salad bar spread offered as the first course in the 5-course dinner menu. Dinner each night was such a treat, as the kitchen happily provide vegan versions of every course on the evening menu: lentil soup, gnocchi, pasta with veggies, risotto and even vegan dessert! After the first day we really had to reign it in with the eating or we wouldn't have been able to hike up the surrounding mountains. A huge thank you to the Hubertus for a filling and beautiful stay! Vegans: book with confidence.
