I had some bad weather for the first few days so having a good hostel like this one was a relief. There was a bar that showed football, a cheap self serve restaurant on site offering tasty food and it was a good place to meet people. Dorm rooms were good, bathroom was fine and the staff friendly and helpful.

I loved this place so much. Staff is very nice and helpful, we had to change hostels because the other one was horrible. This place has a nice vibe and its easy to make friends. The hammocks are great for chilling out. Breakfast is good, sometimes there is cake omnomnom. Good beds, nice bathrooms. Easy place to locate also. Would stay here again for sure!

I stayed only two nights but I liked this hostel. The staff is nice and helpful, the hostel is very clean and the breakfast is good. The location is also good, just behind the principal avenue (the harbour). I recommand it.

I have been travelling around South America for two months now and Biergarten Suites has been my favourite accommodation so far. The suites are located a short walk away from the main hostel, ideal for travellers who want private rooms. The setting is lovely, a cute little garden with outdoor seating, hammocks and some beautiful cats ! Our room was spotless with clean sheets, towels and toiletries provided, a safe, lots of shelves and coat hooks, a fridge and a private bathroom. Also an airing rack outside if you need to dry your clothes. The location was mostly peaceful apart from the fact there is a club opposite which got quite noisy on the weekend but if you've got earplugs it's not a problem. Otherwise, it's close to supermarkets, restaurants and a short walk to the beach. The price was double what we'd usually pay for hostel accommodation but I'd say it's worth it if you want to treat yourself for a couple of nights. The only downside was that breakfast is not provided here at the Suites but there is an outdoor kitchen guests can use. Would definitely recommend this place for backpackers needing a break from cramped bunk beds and shared bathrooms !

This is one of the best hostels I stayed in Brasil. Good location and easy to find. My friend and I stayed in a 6 dorm room. The rooms are big, have lockers and are cleaned everyday. They also got airconditioning. We haven't used the kitchen but I think it's also ok. Pablo at the reception is a cool guy who was really helpful. There is a nice bar where everybody meets at night. If you want capirinha it may take a while. It's so easy to make friends here. The bar closes at 10:30 or something but you can go on somewhere else in Abraao. The best thing here was the people we met. We had a nice group of friends here. U have to get lucky I guess. The Island is also very beautiful!
