We went there with friends to enjoy Yogjakarta and the south beach. it was really nice homestay, friendly, and we had really nice dancing singing with the whole hotels guests. Really quite place, and the owner gave us the biggest room for 3 of us.... we love the style of the hotels, feels like in Kampung. thank you, the problem is we dont have any clue that yogjakarta has a cure few for covid.

I stayed at Bedhot for five days and had a great stay. It was quiet when I was there, but never felt alone because the staff is super friendly and Bedhot himself as well. He drove me to several places and picked me up from the hostel where I stayed before. Also I booked a Batik course and a trip to Borobudur, Chicken Church and Prambanan through his homestay, which was really nice. The bed was super comfortable and the room and bathroom were spacious and looked very good. Little bit out of the city centre, but with a scooter or grab you're there in no time. It was also a really nice place for me to work. Super convenient that you can also order food. Free breakfast is nice, several choices. Highly recommend!

Bedhot (pronounced Bedot, silent 'h') is the most generous of hosts, along with his team of excellent staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful. In fact I have never experience such generosity while abroad. The place is a Balinese paradise. The original art deco furniture in the dining and lounge area is beautiful, as is the entire aesthetic of the place. Bicycles and mopeds where available for exploration around the neighbourhood or into the centre, which was a good way to see the place. The rooms where airconditioned, clean, comfortable, with free WIFI and a private atrium style garden adorned with lovely painted murals. Bedhot, along with being a VW enthusiastic (owning two very cool 1974 VW jeeps), is also a great artist and can often be seen during the day siting in front of his canvas brush in hand. We felt so happy, safe and comfortable at Bedhots Homestay. Plus we thoroughly enjoyed the evening games of Yahtzee and Backgammon over a few beers. The food was good with breakfast, lunch and dinner available. A great experience all round.

Everything about Bedhot Homestay is delightful: the excellent staff treat guests like family and the rooms are clean, spacious and comfy (I stayed in standard room). Huge common area to relax and enjoy the clean air, bird song and free wifi. I felt completely at home and the staff took care of anything I needed. I especially loved borrowing a bicycle from the homestay to explore the beautiful rice fields and colourful street art of Sewon. I could happily live here forever. Thank you to Bedhot and everyone at the homestay... Jogja Istimewa :)

A beautiful Java style oasis away from the city center (it's only a short Grab ride to town). Bedhot & his staff are some of the most hospitable, friendly & lovely people we have met in all or travels throughout the world. We were offered help, assistance & advice at every turn. For example, from taking us to cultural events, organising day trips & Batik workshops, & even helping us to buy the right SIM card. Nothing was too much trouble. We came in the off season & Bedhot took us out a couple of times (in his very cool 1974 covertable VW) to show us around & take us to traditional restaurants & events. The rooms are a good size with a large comfy bed & lovely light-well/garden. We chose a room with air conditioning which was nice to escape the heat. The bathroom was basic, but very adequate & the room was clean. There are free bicycles you can use & hire mopeds too. We had a great stay & will be back again. We love Bedhot Homestay!
