What a lovely little find. A friend took me to this pub for lunch. A quick 10 minuets from home, I had fish cakes and my friend had lasagna. All home made and delicious, served by friendly owners. Sutch a lovely clean and looked after pub. Will be returning.

After the treatment I received from the man who answered your telephone just after 12 noon on friday, who was abrupt and not welloming, I certainly will not now or in the future. I asked what time you served...

Impromptu dinner on a Friday night. Service is friendly and efficient. The menu is good, something for everyone. Food is of good quality, cooked fresh so not fast food. Thoroughly recommend the steak & kidney pie.

In line with what others have said, this is very basic bed and breakfast behind a pub. No frills whatsoever (not even soap). Breakfast stuff in the room. Small room with minimum sized en suite. Very clean. Recommended if you only want a bed for the night and don't intend to be in the room for very long. Pub seemed...

This was a basic, clean, overnight stop. No frills but perfectly fine as long as you don't need service or a cooked breakfast. Everything you need is in the room but beware the low ceilings in the first floor rooms. They are too low even for a 1.64cm woman. Had to ask for a mat for the bathroom floor to...

If you are just looking for a place to sleep, this is great. The accommodation is very basic but everything is clean. I had a comfy warm sleep and thats all I wanted to do. If we were in the area again and just needed a place to sleep, I would definitely come back.
