My parents bought the house opppsite their place and while the house was being renewed, we stayed at their poace and it was a very friendly environment with good views and good food. Both of them are very friendly and lovely. It was a pleasure that now we are neighbors and that they often help hosting our guest that have travel all the way to see us.

Pietro and Emilia could not be better hosts. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left they made us feel welcome and provided the perfect start to our 2 weeks in this amazing region. We even got to share the evening of the lunar eclipse with other guests and our hosts and their friends with local dishes cooked and eaten on the main terrace. A perfect evening! The well appointed villas (there are 4 or 5 terraced properties with private balconies) all have views of the stunning blue sea and you can see Santa Caterina in the distance. Both Santa Caterina and Santa Maria are short drives ( you can easily walk to the former - 20mins or so) and have restaurants, cafes and little beaches. There are loads of spots for jumping into the sea from the rocks in between the two as well. The kids (11, 10 and 6) loved the pool and the hammock beds and we all felt incredibly chilled relaxing under the pine trees, the smell of them filling the air. It is an awesome place and we will be recommending it as well as returning at some point in the not too distant future.

+The location is spectacular, with all flats with their own terrace with sea view +The flats are spacious on two levels, with a large leaving room with kitchen corner, terrace, three sleeping rooms and two bathrooms with shower. Perfect for a family (5 or 6) holiday on the sea. +good air conditioning in the entire flat. There is also a small private court where you can hang clothes and towels to dry. +dish washer and washing machine. - kitchen equipment is basic, but anyway one should use the opportunity to go out and taste the local cuisine in the many restaurants in the area - internet connection in the flat is poor and sometimes not working at all Owners are very available for any kind of help. Sometimes a bit invasive, but with good intentions.

We stayed for three nights last week and found the place and the hosts (Pietro and Emelia) to be lovely. The location is a bit difficult to find so a good sat-nav was handy. It is the last property on the via del Pini and benefits from uninnterupted views over the bay of Santa Caterina- fantastic anytime but specially at sunset from the balcony. You get three bedrooms, a powerful hydro-massage shower in the main bathroom, kitchen is well equipped and a tasteful living area all within a five minute drive of either Santa Caterina or Santa Maria Al Bagno. Easy to reach other places along the west coast too. Definitely worth a stay!

My beautiful, hillside 3 bedroom apt. had an unobstructed view of the sea from Gallipoli to the south to Santa Caterina just 25 minute walk or 5 min drive away. Quiet and serene. But the joy of the stay are Pietro and Emilia. Your very favorite Grandparents who will entertain you with their charm and graciousness.

Emilia e Pietro not only own this place but more important they will host you like a guest staying at their home. The apartments are very big, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with all furniture and facilities you might need, including dishwasher and washing machine, as well as any other thing you might have at home. Some articles like salt and olive oil are already present and you don't need to buy. The view from the balcony is amazing and you can enjoy morning breakfast as well as diner over there. Just one recommendation: bring some repellent for mosquitos if you want to enjoy the night outside. Swimming pool is small but very nice for enjoying the place without going to the beach. We asked for the formula hotel, which includes breakfast and cleaning every day and I think it is a good option if you don't know want to prepare any food and you have kids. A nice discovery to repeat next year.

Emilia and her husband gave us a warm welcome and took good care of us. The house is big, with two terraces overlooking the sea. The kitchen is big and has plenty of utensils if you want to cook. The master bedroom has a romantic wrought iron fourposter and a sea view. Lovely!
