    Another Immersion in Paradise!!
We returned again to this stunningly and beautifully designed resort that is simply, paradise! Having suffered through several difficult personal situations, my wife and I needed an emergency mental recharge and, after considering some other wonderful resorts, I knew the ultimate Zen location would be back at Amanyara. We always stay in an Ocean Pavilion as they offer stunning views throughout the day of the ocean, sky, mind-blowing sunsets, and a star filled sky at night. Although this was our 4th visit to Amanyara, the beautiful architecture and property continued to stun and fill my photo app with pictures. The nighttime lighting of the structures is just as stunning. Added to this picturesque surrounding is a staff that provides as much attention, or as little, as one desires. With beaming, warm and friendly smiles they seek to make the impossible possible. We have always found the staff to be very interesting to talk to as they have had a variety of experiences and backgrounds. This trip involved a particular situation with us that the staff compassionately and quietly went to great extents to accommodate and we were so truly grateful for their kind assistance. As I mentioned to the staff upon departure, we have traveled and stayed at many fabulous resorts and hotels, including other Amans, around the world. Normally, we are happy at the end of the trip and ready for our departure onward. But every stay at Amanyara has been different as, although we have had a fabulous stay, we are truly sad to be leaving such a beautiful and Zen environment and pine for a few more days there!
Dear DTMNyc, We very much appreciate you taking your time to write such a positive review about your recent stay with us and are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your time at Amanyara. Thank you for visiting us and we are thrilled to hear you loved your villa and the many activities we offer, but even more delighted to hear that you loved our team. We work hard to make everyone's stay memorable. We hope to welcome you back soon. Kind regards, Sophie Arista, Director of Sales Amanyara

The most special place on earth!
Five stars doesn’t give Amanyara justice. This place is truly exceptional and exceeds the most discerning expectations - Amanyara is a magical paradise. My husband proposed here and less than a year later we decided to go back for our honeymoon. And we are not alone as most guests are repeat visitors and have become part of the “Amanyara Family. The food is fresh and delicious, and the chef will create any meal that you desire. The staff works incredibly hard and is beyond accommodating. The service is the best I’ve ever experienced. The spa is world-class and the resort is simply breathtaking and perfectly maintained. And the beach - WOW! My favorite beach in the world. Amanyara is truly 10/10. So thankful for Ian and all of the amazing staff. We cannot wait to be back.
Dear Emily, the whole Amanyara family sends their blessings and best wishes to you both, congratulation's and thank you soooo much for re-visiting my Caribbean AMAN home and very much looking forward to welcoming you back again for visit number 3! Stay well and island regards, Ian White General Manager, Amanyara

Back to a beautiful Zen place to recharge the system
Love this place of Zen and relaxation! Just finished our 3rd trip here having been here last June during Covid and in 2019 just before Covid. We absolutely love this resort as the buildings, scenery, location are so beautiful and peaceful. And the staff is just the best from the managers to all levels, so genuinely friendly, accommodating and happy. We have stayed at many Aman resorts and other top hotels and resorts around the world and this is one of our favorites. There is much to do here or do nothing but recharge your system. We had 2 excellent mediation sessions with Toby, who is relatively new to the resort but very experienced, and this was a new bonus. There was also a delicious Arabian meal night that should not be missed. The staff here go to extraordinary lengths to provide a great and relaxing experience. This year we used the expedited airport service and were so glad for it. We left on a Monday and the airport was mobbed with long immigration lines that, using this service, allowed us to go the front. Also, the quiet air-conditioned separate area was a respite from the packed lounge area, making this expense well worth the cost.
Dear DTMNyc, Thank you for the great review of our hotel! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again very soon. Kind regards, Amanyara Team amanyara@aman.com

Short version: unmatchable location and beach; friendly service; great facilities; attention to detail Pros - responsive service (shout-out to Sade, Yessica, Ervin, and kayak instructor among others), treated our 4-year old daughter like a celebrity, beach, private pavilions, great facilities Cons - few service shortcomings, food was good but not great Pre-arrival: booked online directly through the Amanyara website, but will note that it was hard to get a hold of their reservations team via phone or email. I was given some inaccurate information by the Aman reservations number about the location of the pavilions and when asking for quotes over email, took over 24 hours to hear back from them, which led to some of the pavilion types being booked up. However, once I booked, I was able to communicate my requests to the Amanyara team via email and they were more responsive. Arrival: I had arranged a private transfer with car seat, which was a Mercedes-Benz GLS-450 (they had a whole fleet...no range rovers). Vehicle was ready on arrival. Friendly driver offered us cold towelettes and chilled drinks (water, sparkling water, etc.). I mentioned our daughter gets motion sickness and he drove extremely carefully. The road was windy and unpaved for more than half of the 25-minute drive but not nearly as bad as I expected. Upon arriving at the hotel, were greeted at arrival area by team of smiling staff with welcome drinks. bags were whisked away to our room. Sade from the staff gave us a brief tour of the property and of our room. She immediately hit it off with our four year old, who became her biggest fan. Check-in was done in room. Room: We were upgraded to an alcove pavilion, which was located on a lagoon/pond and has a glassed-in sunroom/alcove, thus more inside space than other pavilions. We had the chance to look at a pool pavilion but unless you're planning on swimming in your room most of the time, did not feel it was necessary given proximity of beach and infinity pool. Pavilion was very private--you walked down a long path and down some stairs to the pavilion. There was an outdoor patio with dining table. Our pavilion was walking distance to the main area and a slightly longer walk to beach but some pavilions were definitely a lot farther. We called for the golf cart, especially during night time. Service: they pampered us. Sade at reception was really a standout--went above and beyond. Daughter would ask if Ms. Sade was around every day and wanted to ride shuttle with ms. Sade. She tried to find a Minnie Mouse for my MM obssessed daughter and upon check-out, came by with TWO surprise gift bags of toys. Whenever we had a request, it was met...for example, asked for microwave in room, got it. Asked for room closer to main facilities, got it. Internet was slow in room--they called IT and fixed it. Mentioned dietary restrictions, they were addressed. Most importantly, they made our daughter feel like royalty. They gave her a gift bag on arrival, they then gave her a really cool silicone beach toy set at the kids club, and at checkout, pampered her with an amazing play teaset, t-shirt and crayons. Did I mention that at dinner, they'd bring by crayons and coloring pages and that Yessica brought for her very own pack of crayons and a few extra coloring pages to take home. But, about 20-30% of the staff were kind of indifferent/apathetic looking. Dining: was solid but could be better not five star quality. Main restaurant was open for breakfast and dinner, and beach club for lunch. Bar open for snacks. Could have better variety...maybe one more restaurant or a rotating menu. Menu was not rotating--was told it rotated seasonally. However, the staff were quite flexible. Hats off to Ervin and Yessica who gave us ideas for what to order, and hats off to Chef Daniele for accommodating our dietary restrictions and providing kosher meat! Overall facilities/location: Impeccable design of the main facilities, restaurant and bar--felt like everything was floating on water. we also checked out the clubhouse with tennis courts, pickleball, table tennis, soccer field, basketball, game room, and boxing room. Amazing. Also great that wifi was accessible everywhere, including on the beach all the way up to the water. Beach: beach was beautiful. clearest and most turquoise water I've seen. Upon arriving at beach, attendant would set up umbrella and towels, bringing bucket of ice cold waters. Also came by with fruit skewers. was a little surprised that other than outside shower, no locker rooms/changing rooms around beach or pool. Activities: was pleasantly surprised at how much was included--from nightly movie screening, to free use of nonmotorized sports equipment, kids center (nature discovery center), to fitness facilities. Also, they had 3-4 daily activities (yoga, meditation, kayak lessons, daily free snorkeling trip out on a boat). Hats off to really friendly kayak instructor (can't remember his name but was Claude or something), who also gave me a Hobie cat lesson. We enjoyed using the wading pool and basketball hoop in kids center, and daughter made a bracelet at kids' center. Overall, a lot to keep you busy. Departure: was offered extended check-out so we could stay in room until transfer to airport. Check out was seamless. Farewell was bittersweet. Drive back to airport and trip back home was the hardest part (not wanting to leave). Overall, we loved this trip and can't stop thinking about it. Was it perfect, no? Was it darn close? Yes! We were hesitant to splurge but it really was worth it.

Although this was not an ideal time to visit the Caribbean (hot and humid), my wife and I elected to visit this Aman for four nights for a brief getaway. Professionalism and attention to detail by the resort's staff were apparent from the point of arrival till our departure. Pick-up from the airport was timely and check-in was efficient, professional and genuinely warm in their greeting/welcome. As expected of the Aman chain, the grounds were beautifully landscaped and pristine - perhaps even gorgeous. Room was Aman-esque; the decor was very nice with many thoughtful amenities and a great view; I cannot think of anything that was lacking. We were assigned a villa that required an ~5 minute buggy ride to the main buildings. This was not an issue as a driver would appear within 2-3 minutes of our requesting a ride from the front desk. We enjoyed the many facilities offered at the resort; the spa was excellent, as was the service. My only negative comment, and this is a big one, was that the food was very much less than expected - when compared to other Amans we had visited. As the hotel is situated some distance from Providenciales, we elected to take the meal plan that provided 3 meals/day. While the selection of food was adequate, the quality was much less than experienced at other Amans in the region; the chef was very heavy with his/her deployment of salt to ALL the meals; some were non edible because of the excessive use of this condiment. We had mentioned this to the staff but this issue was not rectified - to the point that we subsequently settled on foods that did not require the addition of salt by the cook - viz, salads, fruits and pre-prepared foods. Staff throughout were polite, attentive and genuinely tried to make our stay pleasant - this was arguably the best redeeming aspect of our stay at this particular Aman. I would probably revisit but request for a room closer to the main buildings (unless we elect to take a villa with our extended family - with an assigned personal chef) and opt-out from the meal plan.

It was a real pleasure hosting you, and I'm delighted to know that we went beyond your expectations in several aspects. I will make sure to share your very kind comments with the team. I am however disappointed to hear that your experience in the culinary space was not of the same level. I am personally addressing this with our chef, who will be reviewing some of our dishes to assess salt content. I am hoping to welcome you back in the near future, so that we can arrange a special tasting for you, of some of our best dishes! Where do I begin???? Just returned from an amazing 4 day anniversary stay here. Beach absolutely amazing…clear like glass blue water, might be even better than Maldives or Zanzibar. We were like fish that never wanted to leave the water. Staff beyond amazing…they knew our names, our likes and dislikes, our dietary restrictions and really spoiled us because it was our anniversary. Each evening we would find a surprise in our room such as candles, soaps and bath salt to take home or the best tasting fruit, chocolates and cake to enjoy during our stay. Riding the bikes from our room to the beach and all over made us feel like we were on our own private island. It was one of the best parts of our stay. Breakfast is simply put just perfect. I never tasted anything bad for breakfast or any other meal. Wilmar remembered our coffee and juice orders each morning. Every meal was superb from the breakfast burrito, fish tacos, hamburger, to the pastries just unforgettable! The rooms are gorgeous and so spacious. We were upgraded to an ocean view room which was so tranquil and views exceptional. Apparently the hotel was at 60% capacity before we left but we felt like we were the only ones there! We were already dreaming and plotting when we could come back. The entire staff is amazing and there were just too many names to remember but from the names I can remember I would like to thank Amanda who surprised us with an anniversary cake and was always checking if we needed anything, Wilmar who remembered all our favorite foods and drinks, Sade who never forgot any of our requests and would make the impossible possible, Ruby, Rocky, Faruk, Junior, Tanya, and Marco. You all made our stay so memorable and treated us like family. Please forgive me to those who’s name I forgot! We ventured out to Grace bay for a few hours and immediately wanted to go back ‘home’ to our sanctuary at Amanyara. Yes the price of accommodations maybe a little on the high side but honestly it’s worth every penny. Be sure to take advantage of the spa, afternoon tea, bicycles and complimentary snorkeling trip. We have travelled to several places all over the world but Amanyara has now moved to the top of our list of favorite places we’ve visited. Hope to return one day real soon! Again thank you to everyone at Amanyara for an unforgettable and relaxing stay!

From the minute you get in the car at the airport, you are part of a total, enveloping experience. Somehow everyone knows your name, and shortly thereafter knows the foods and drinks you like. A warm, friendly staff keeps an eye on your stay and helps make plans, sort out travel, take care of anything you might need. We were there for six nights and never left the property. There's a lot to do if you want that, but also it's a great place to do absolutely nothing and just enjoy the beautiful spot and terrific food. It's not the cheapest place to go, but it's easily one of the best properties of its kind that we've ever visited. Both restaurants on the property were excellent and very casual in vibe. The place was three quarters full when we were there, but because of the site and the layout, it seemed as though it was far less full than it actually was. Very quiet. Great spa. Great beach. We've already booked again for next year.

We had an amazing time and Amanyara exceeded our expectations. The physical property and our Villa was fantastic and the beach and pools are amazing. Also so many activities to experience or just chill! But what really makes the difference is the team. It is really well managed and the service and food is spectacular. From the moment you get in the Amanyara car at the airport you know that you are going to have a special experience. Housekeeping and daily amenities in the room put a smile on our face. Can't wait to return!

Last week, my wife and I returned from a fabulous stay at Amanyara. The resort is architecturally one of the most distinguished we have stayed at. Asian in style, the resort consists of a number of pavilions beautifully placed above a series of man-made pools. The swimming pool is situated in front of the bar with a commanding view of the ocean, with chairs, day beds and pavilions for lounging and unobstructed views of the most stunning sunsets we have witnessed. One cannot say enough how spectacular the water and beaches are in the Turks and Caicos Islands; it must be the finest in the Caribbean. Our room, was located in a separate cottage; modern and clean with windows on all sides. The space included a huge bathroom with all the modern amenities and a very large private swimming pool (you can do laps) with a view of a surrounding forest that provided much privacy. The food was very good; particularly the local lobster and the pizza at the beachside restaurant. We chose a three meal all- inclusive (excluding drinks and bottled water) meal plan that covered everything that we ordered. A big shout out to the staff who were responsive, friendly and truly interested in getting to know their guests especially our Brazilian waiter at the main restaurant (sorry we forgot his name.) On our arrival we were met by the general manager, Tom Rutherford, and under his auspices, service was excellent in every area of the resort. There were many activities at Amayarna which we did not take advantage of and chose instead to enjoy relaxing in complete idleness.

I can’t believe I would be writing a bad review on a AMAN hotel. From the moment we landed in Turks we were with high expectations of this Valentine’s Day weekend in AMANYARA. What a disappointment. The airport service in Turks is awful all employees are y friendly and very dirty. I would have thought that AMANYARA would have set up pick up and fast track which they said they did but did not. (By the way don’t spend the extra money on Fast track in Turks and Caicos it’s a complete ripoff). We waited outside the airport for over 30 mins. We kept saying we needed a ride to AMANYARA and they didn’t have our name on list. Finally the taxi people in airport were able to wave down a 2010 Cadillac Escalade. Right from there I knew the trip was not going to be good. My husband and I travel a lot and we can rank from the top 5 starts hotel in the world to 3 stars hotel depending on the reason of trip. So to come to AMANYARA and get a 3 star service is very sad. So many staff and no one knew your name. No one checked on you. We would have to get our own towels in pool and would have to constantly ask for assistant in anything. You would think 23k for 4 nights you would get top notch service. The rooms were never clean well. They would just come in and make the bed once a day. If you want to visit a A-1 service aman hotel close to USA go to AMANERA. This hotel was a complete joke and disappointment to AMAN line and sad part every person we spoke too had the same opinion. I repeat do not spend your money here.

This is our third Aman resort. Our previous stays in Amans were exceptional and everything was on point, hence our expectations were high for our week long stay. Unfortunately, our stay at Amanyara was everything but this. The service at this resort is non-existent. Most of the staff do not smile, greet you or ask you if they can assist. At breakfast, the service is very slow, with items often being forgotten. The waiters look like they do not want to be there. When sitting at the beach the staff never approach to assist. Instead you are handed a towel and some water and have to chase them down if you want to order anything. Furthermore, the food is really poor for its price point. There is a complete lack of vegan options and the menu is extremely limited, with meals being flavourless. For example, one would expect plenty of fresh fruit options in such a place but this is not the case. Additionally, the restaurants charges extortionate prices (+$50 for a simple tomato pasta excluding 27% tax !!!) Additionally, during our stay the buggy made available to us was taken by staff on numerous occasions, leaving us without one. When confronted, the staff did not offer an apology. To top things off, housekeeping was sloppy as it was often incomplete (e.g towels not replaced, no new fruits given). Finally, we never saw the manager during our stay, indicating poor supervision and lack of training. We will not be returning and are extremely disappointed in the Aman brand. For the price they charge and the additional 5% facility charge the experience was extremely underwhelming. At this price point there are a plethora of other resorts of exceptional quality so take your money elsewhere.
