Stayed here for a week as a couple. Lovely guesthouse perfectly located in Xlendi a few minutes walk from seafront and harbour. Beautiful coastal walks accessible virtually opposite the accommodation. The rooms and communal areas are absolutely spotlessly clean. Large, spacious rooms with ample storage and balcony with pool and sea views. We found our bed a little uncomfortable, but this was quickly rectified with a divine mattress topper and the sheets and blankets were exchanged for a quilt. Maria was exceptionally attentive, and breakfast was delightful looking out to the sea. Selection of yoghurt, ham, cheese and eggs in abundance, we certainly didn't go hungry. If you're looking for the perfect base to explore the island, this is it.

San Antonio Guesthouse is an absolute gem right on Xlendi bay, with a short walk down to some really lovely swimming spots and Maltese restaurants. The hotel itself is brilliant, boasting two swimming pools and amazing sea views. George and Maria are fantastic, accommodating hosts, going out of their way to help us wherever they could during our stay. On our last day we had a late flight from Malta and they were more than happy for us to relax by the pool, store our bags and offer us a shower even though we had checked out. I will be recommending this hotel to anyone travelling to Gozo, as it truly is a wonderful family-run hotel. Thank you!

George and his staff oversee the guesthouse with the kind of care that lifts the entire experience. The guesthouse is an easy walk to Xlendi Bay. From the pool, many of the rooms, and the giant balcony on the second floor there are wonderful, breathtaking views of the bay and the sea. The rooms are clean and nice, and the bathrooms are updated and nice too. The two pools are pristine. Very nice breakfast and plenty of other accommodations are provided free of charge. I brought my young family and a group of 39 to the guesthouse, and we were given 5-star care by the entire staff.

We loved staying here and it was ideal for our family.George and Maria and all the staff are excellent hosts, their guest house is very clean, airy, relaxing and reflects their family pride in the business. Our rooms had lovely balconies, two swimming pools which we used every day.Large supply of beach towels.Breakfast was inclusive, leisurely and ample, eggs, cereal, toast, yoghurt, fresh fruit, good coffee.Very sweet friendly people. We had a young family friend join us from London and we need not have worried.Maria found a foldaway bed and he was very comfortable.Thank you.Short walk to restaurants, swimming beach, lots to see and do.Would love to come back some day.

Never having been to Malta, we debated a number of locations and accommodations before choosing San Antonio - and I must say we were very lucky we did. The room was very large, the balcony also with a fabulous view of the sea, everything very comfortable and in a quiet location away from the noise and crowds on the Xlendi promenade. The owners and staff are very nice, though not overly outgoing, the breakfast huge and tasty (though not overly exciting, but how exciting does breakfast have to be?) and in general the place was perfect for a few days of relaxing beach holiday. We are also glad we chose to be in Xlendi, even though we had to drive to a beach every day, because it was pretty and quiet and small.

Lovely little guest house. Maria, George and the rest of the family were friendly and very accommodating. Its homely, clean, it has aircon in rooms and free wifi. The view from our balcony was stunning. We were diving most days with St Andrews dive center and it was a 5 min walk to that so very convenient. The pool was kept clean and was a lovely place to unwind. This was our first time to Gozo and San Antonio Guesthouse. Both were wonderful. Will definitely be back.

For us it was a base to go scuba diving in Xlendi but ended up far exceeding our expectations, the breakfast of cereals, fruit, eggs and toast set us up perfectly for our adventures. On our return late afternoon we enjoyed relaxing around the pool and the bonus was there is a communal fridge available to guests. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we paid extra for a sea view which is absolutely stunning, our hosts George and Maria were wonderful and made us very welcome. Overall personally can't fault it, my wife and I are already planning to return next year.

This Guesthouse was recommended by my Cousin that knew it well. I was assured that it would suit my Daughter (25) and I down to the ground and so it did. The apartments we had were spacious and very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well and the double bed for me and the two singles in my Daughters room gave us just the right choices without a difficult discussion about preferences. The Owners are the most charming and welcoming people. They made us feel welcomed from the start to finish of our trip. Breakfast is included and was ample to start the day, ahead of over indulging at wonderful restaurants on the Island. I can truly recommend this Guesthouse without reservation and will look forward to my return in the near future
