We are here now ! Don’t get me wrong the hotel is beautiful and very clean . But do not pay extra for the white day beds as other people just come along and use them and they don’t pay for Them . You are charged 16 euros a day for them . I went and complained about us paying for them and some other people came along and never paid to use the ones they were on ! I’m Not one for complaining but when we pay for them and others don’t then that’s not acceptable . The all inclusive drinks are vile . If you want decent branded drinks you have to pay 12 euros extra per day per person ( and even if you don’t drink alcohol you still have to pay as everyone in your party have to have it ) I don’t drink but still had to pay it because my friend likes a drink . Which we paid for ! To still be given the cheap cocktails and not the upgraded ones !! Also she likes gin , and when she asked to have a branded gin she was then told they are an extra charge on top . This is appalling . If you need the toilet when on the sun loungers there is one set of outside toilets for everyone ( 5 toilets unisex ) just so you know. Overall if you are happy to pay the extra charges for drinks and daybeds. Then it’s ok . Going in the food market restaurant is like a rugby scram ! Social distancing goes out of the window ! The hotel are trying to keep everyone safe ! But we have found people not adhering to the rules ! No social distancing and mask wearing when they are suppose to . Not one for complaining but we did advise the manager of this. But not made any difference . No complaints over the actual look of the hotel or the cleaning staff they are doing an excellent job but management need to get a few things sorted to make this hotel right .

No negitivity towards this hotel at all. Me and the wife had a wonderful 7nts all inclusive here from 22/11. Food was always plentful, room and bed very comfortable with constant hot water in the shower and fresh towels. TV channels were sufficient and location on the ground floor was perfect. Due to the size of the hotel WIFI is scamp and only best used around the reception areas so you will need data on your phone if you like lying around the pool and being on the net. No money exchange but cash points available with a 1.5% charge so take your bank card. Both al-a-carte restraunts are gret and all food areas are immaculate. It must have cost a fortune to have this hotel designed and furbished to the standard it is. Price for our 7 night stay was very reasonable @ £575.00 per head through Tui and all was well worth the cost. Big thank you to all the staff we loved it and hope to be back. Rob & Trish Whitley Bay

We spent five nights at this resort in late November 2021 and, for the most part, we had a fantastic experience. The place is impeccably clean, the staff are kind and polite and the rooms are very decent. The pools, communal areas and bars are all really lovely places to be - if a little clinical at times. My only real gripes are the much spoken about sun lounger reservation issue and the quality/temperature of the food on offer. The loungers are plentiful around the main pools and you will have absolutely no issue claiming one in a nice spot at any time of the day. That said, the adult only pool is a different kettle of fish. At the time of writing, this is the only heated pool so it’s quite desirable to sit by but (despite rules against it) people will come out early each morning to claim all of the available loungers/cabanas and then head off for breakfast. This leaves them empty for large parts of the day and is a bit of a shame. The food is pretty decent but, perhaps understandably, the temperature of each plate varies due to the sheer volume of guests on site. It really can be manic in the food market so please do be mindful of that! All in all, a very pleasant experience and a much needed break. Thanks for the hospitality!

We were really worried about the hotel after reading the reviews, some were extremely negative however we have just returned from a week’s holiday and those reviews couldn’t be further from the truth. The food was exceptional. Yes, it was a buffet but it was different every night. The steaks were perfect, the fish was delicious, everything was spot on. The variety at all meal sittings meant that everyone was catered for. We went to the Italian restaurant and again it was exceptional. The Asian restaurant was good also. The beer on offer was excellent and even the Prosecco was decent. The only comment would be that sometimes the food could have been hotter but that didn’t detract from how lovely the food was. Also, it would have been a lovely touch if the bedrooms had tea and coffee facilities. The hotel was clean throughout and the staff really friendly.

I found reviews about the hotel really mixed before we visited in November 2021, however my general experience of Trip Advisor is a lot of people expect a lot more then they are paying for! A week all inclusive cost my husband and I £600 each (flying in from London Gatwick), we just wanted a week relaxing in the sun as we hadn’t been away since COVID hit. I am really glad we booked this hotel. I thought it was lovely and spacious, well laid out, incredibly clean, nice room, polite staff (despite other reviews saying otherwise) and good food. I’m not a big drinker so cannot comment too far on what was in and what was out of the basic all inclusive, however I was quite happy with the few cocktails I was able to have and the wines on tap. In all fantastic value for money. There are some elements of other reviews I agree with; 1) The dining hall is a little chaotic! Though as a couple we found going to the outdoor area much more peaceful to eat and there was always a table available. And actually of all the European all inclusive’s I’ve been on, the food here was by far the best quality. Agree that labelling desserts for nut allergies is a must, my husband really struggled to find things he could safely eat for dessert so generally stuck to fruit to be safe. Book early for the Italian and Asian restaurants to get a reasonable time slot. The food was still buffet but it was a much calmer experience then the usual dining hall. 2) The check in process was too long. Luckily we were quite near the front of the queue but I did see how long it took to check in and was really grateful I wasn’t near the back of the queue. 3) The hotel does need to do more to ensure people aren’t taking sun beds early and then just not using them for the whole morning. It was pretty annoying having slim pickings around the adult only pool when there was actually nobody there using the beds they’d put towels down on. I agree that it isn’t really a 5* hotel, however for the price we paid I was thoroughly pleased. Our room was nice and clean, the shower was amazing (we have a really rubbish shower at home so it was an extra treat!) we were only given one pillow each so asked for extras and they were sent straight to our room. Still quite hard pillows though, I’m quite funny about pillows and meant to bring one from home but forgot. I would probably recommend bringing one if you have room in your suitcase, worth it if they aren’t to your liking. I made good use of the gym which was small but the equipment was good, it was never really busy and when I wanted to book a time slot there was one available (although nobody actually checks so I often overran my designated hour). Loved the balcony area of the gym for free weights and stretching. Agree that opening at 10am is too late though. I was happy to pay an extra €10 for the spa and used it twice. We also had massages which were lovely. The outdoor areas are stunning, the pools are lovely (although could do with being warmer). It did become shady at times due to the tall tree’s but honestly the gardens were so beautiful it made it more acceptable! Not sure if wearing masks when moving around the outside space is totally necessary but this seems like a rule across the Island, not just this resort. The location of the hotel isn’t the best, if you want to spend days on the beach I wouldn’t suggest staying here. However if you’re looking for a nice resort and happy to travel further afield for exploring then it’s perfect. In summary, great value for money - not 5* but a really decent hotel nonetheless.
