Travelers' Choice
Naturist Resort Magnolias Natura is the perfect naturists hideaway situated in Maspalomas on the southernmost tip of the island of Gran Canaria. During almost ten years Magnolias resort has earned the reputation it has today as being one of the best naturists resorts in Europe and the number of our guests who return over and over again is testimony to this. Magnolias Natura is to be found in a quiet and secluded location in Maspalomas, close to the golf course and sand dunes. Maspalomas beach, Europe's unofficial nudist capital where naturists gather every day to relax naked in the sunshine, is only a short distance away.

Hotel in a quiet area. A great place for naturists. Bungalows, a bit far to the beach but a free bus runs several times a day. The staff are very friendly, always smiling, always a nice word. Hotel is also friendly for disabled people. An ideal place for rest and naturism.

We were lucky to get a bungalow at such short notice. We were met with a very warm welcome from Sergio, welcoming us home. The bungalows were as clean as ever, kept spotless by Lydia and Norma who were as cheerful and happy in there work as always, they had a warm welcome for us as well. Shame some of the staff seem to have an attitude of you always return so why should we go out of our way to make your stay special, hence the average score. We always relax and unwind here, met old friends and made new ones. Shame the day we left the water was turned off, we never saw the notice posted on the blackboard. Maybe the management should have provided bottle water for the guest to use while the water was off.

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry that your stay was only satisfactory. I have met with the responsible staff to highlight your concerns. I am extremely sorry about the disruption to the water supply. This was an emergency and, as you suggest, our way of dealing with this was not satisfactory. Procedures have now been put in place to deal with these issues more effectively on the rare occasions that they do occur. May I thank you once again for engaging with me via email. Regards Jason Hatherill Co-owner & Director - Mareu Hoteles

This was our first time visiting Magnolias and we had a relaxing holiday. Excellent cleaning service in the bungalows, at least 5 times a week, and plenty clean towels both for the pool and the bungalow shower room. Also liked the fact that dishcloth, teatowel and washing up liquid was provided. Kitchen equipment was basic with coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge and 2 ring hob. A microwave would be a useful addition. Crockery, glasses and cutlery were the exact number for 3 people. Safe hire for 2 weeks cost 31 euros. The bar and restaurant were handy on site, with a set price menu or a la carte choices. All the staff were very helpful and it was good to have a free bus service down to the beach and back....although it was a very pleasant (2.5miles) walk down there. A well stocked 'swopping' library in various languages on site too. The biggest 'bugbear' was people claiming loungers for all day. Most of loungers had towels on by 9.10am. even though the owners didn't appear for hours. In one case the owners appeared 3 hours later, sat for 10 minutes then went to sit at the bar, went back to their bungalow, and reappeared a few hours later for another 10 minutes before finally removing their towels. How selfish, and it was a prime spot for the sun. This selfish act needs to be stopped and not just at Magnolias. The only thing about Magnolias is that if the bungalows are all full (2 or 3 persons) there is definitely not enough loungers for everyone.
