Myself and family stayed here for ten days. Pics with on the beach must have been taken a. Decade ago. No WiFi as stated, pay for TV, kettle, toaster. As self catering you would expect a equipped kitchen, but just 2 hobs. A fridge that leaked, there was only 1 butter knife, 2 forks and too many spoons. Upstairs the bath/shower had white filler on it, the toilet came away from the floor. Very old and dated. Pool was only cleaned once whilst there. Evening reception couldn't speak any English. Not very friendly or cooperative. Even had a few house guest in my bed (cockroaches). Sat in a chair which broke due to having chipboard as the seat. Totally disgusted with this apartment. We choose this due to having an onsite restaurant, shop and pool bar. None of which were open, this caused a lot of distress as we had a disabled guest with us. Only good thing was the actual Island. Just couldn't wait to leave.

I was supposed to travel with my partner but he couldn’t make it due to Covid holiday changes. So, went by myself. First holiday without kids for 30 years!! Capri is just as I expected. It is clean, tidy. Everyone was incredibly friendly. I was in A37 right at the end with no neighbours for the whole time I was there. The shop on site was closed but there was a Spar a few minutes walk on another site that was open to everyone. The bungalow itself is basic as others have mentioned but has what you need. You do need to hire a kettle, toaster etc but I knew that before arriving. Hired a fan but only used it once. Didn’t take long to work out which doors and windows to open to get the breeze through. I was right by the main road and reviews lead me to believe this was the equivalent of a motor way. Don’t know if it was due to Covid but it seemed fine to me. Bus travel was good and cheap as were the taxis. There are 2 bus stops within 5 mins walk. And cats. Lots of cats. One adopted me for my 10 days 😁 would definitely return.

Capri Bungalows 22-29 Feb 2020. Had a lovely relaxing time in the sun. Was aware about the additional charges for wi-fi, toaster, tv channels etc and had researched the location. Went to Lidl for fist bulk shop and then bought local. We ate at restaurant a few evenings and food the food and service excellent and menu and prices were comparable to other restaurants in the area. Any issues we had were sorted out quickly . I asked for a bath mat as tiled floor was slippy and also for a change of towels mid week this was given quickly. I found all the staff were nice and helpful. Many of the guests are long stay or return visitors. I think it was clean, basic, 1* star accomodation for the price. Some of the bungalows are being renovated new kitchen units, tiles, flat screen tv's etc so the star rating and prices may increase.

We have returned to Capri Bungalow for the second time and again it has not dissapointed. Not much has changed since our last visit, the Bungalows/apartments are still basic, which I think just adds character to this quirky little place. Like I said in my last review we're not staying at the Ritz. The cleaners still come round on a regular basis and empty the bins, clean the floors and make sure there are plenty of clean towels. Anything extra you need (like more pillows, for example) can be requested from the staff at reception, who are always very polite and helpful. It is still very quiet and relaxing, even when fully booked. Just to clear up some things from other reviews... Yes, the apartments are basic, but you are supplied with enough plates, cups, bowls etc for up to 4 people. There is a hob in every apartment and a saucepan, so for those of you that don't want to pay extra hiring items you can boil your water this way. There is also a standard sized fridge for milk and food. People that stay there with children are put in the bungalows, so no tiled stairs to fall down. Holiday World (about a 10 min walk away) has had a complete revamp with much more food selection and amusements. You now have to pay a fee (about 10 euros for adults and 6 euros for children) to use all of the rides instead of paying individually. This place is in a very quiet location, but the bus stop is not far away to get you to the more busier towns. Reception are always happy to call a taxi for you if you prefer. There is also the San Fernando market on Saturdays and Wednesdays which is about a 10 - 15 min walk away, it sells allsorts from trinkets to clothes and even suitcases, in case you get a little carried away! you can grab a real bargain here as it can be much cheaper than the shops in the busier towns. I will keep returning to Capri Bungalows when in Gran Canaria.

Stayed here on 14th January for one week, very very very basic, self catering a bit of a joke, no kettle, no toaster, hardly any utensils for cooking, however you can hire all of the above, 🤔. Lovely wee bungalows but in need of some TLC very very dated, the area has nothing in it bit deserted. All the staff were very nice and friendly, the nearest thing to the bungalows is the delapatated shopping centre, however for a couple of Euros you can get a taxi to other busy resorts. Maspalomas I'm afraid wasn't for me. 🙈.
