Me and my friend were quite late out to make a booking, just 2d before arrival and got lucky! We didn`t realize just how lucky before we arrived. These cottages are located so perfect! You literally live upon the water. The view is stunning! The standard is fairly simple, but everything is impeccably clean and whole. We did not miss any tools or facilities. It even comes with a small boat for free usage! It is just a few minutes walk in to Flåm center. The service is outstanding! It started out with voice message and SMS which was quickly followed up with emails. Upon departure I received a personal email with thanks for the visit and for leaving the place in good shape. I highly recommend a visit to Flåm Fjordhytter!

These four cottages in Flam are perfect just about every way. The picture window gives you breathtaking views right down the fjord. We had a cruise ship dock one of the days we were there which was a cool sight to see. Anders & Sue are wonderful hosts and are easy to communicate and make all arrangements via phone and email. Well stocked kitchen and small grocery within walking distance allowed us to cook all of our meals. Free parking on site. We stayed four nights with perfect weather and wished we could have stayed another 4 nights. At the top of our list of places to come back to.

Beautiful cottage, amazing views, we loved watching the weather in the Fjord. We booked this cottage as a special birthday treat and it was worth every hard earnt penny! The cottage is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Very quiet.

Our family could not believe how perfect our cottage was for our stay in Flam. We were 6 adults and loved our accommodations. Our rooms and beds were very comfortable. Two bathrooms are helpful with large groups for sure. The red cottages are famous in Flam as they are seen from many angles in town, yet you are secluded being a 10 minute walk from the train station/town. The cottage even comes with a row/motor boat which Anders made sure we were comfortable using. He gave us an extra tank of gas as well. Our hosts couldn't have been better. The kitchen had all we needed to cook meals together. We could have sat in the living room, deck or kitchen table all day just to take in the scenery. Highly recommend enjoying this picture perfect location in Flam.

My family of 4 recently stayed here for 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed for more. The view out the window in the living room really is amazing - you can look down and see the ducks swimming a few feet away or look across the fjord to see a cruise ship docked right in front of you, or you can look up to the top of the mountains with waterfalls trickling down. I was happy to just sit and look out the window, but my 2 sons decided to swim in the fjord (57 degrees F) and take the boat out. This was the highlight of the trip, and all made possible by Anders who showed them how to use the boat and told them about the big boulder close by to jump off of. We had a long talk with him and his wife Susan and it was very interesting to hear the history of the cabins and their family. The cabin was nicely decorated, down to the live orchid on the coffee table. We enjoyed the restaurants and shops in Flam, a short walk away, and had a great time on the FjordSafari boat ride. I easily could have spent 4 or 5 days here. Thanks for a great stay!
