PROS: Close to beautiful patrolled and surf beaches. Within an hour of San Sebastian. Nice local towns - Biarritz, Capbreton... Lovely big pool. WiFi in public areas can be picked up by some. Good value - you get what you pay for. The weather. Administration's flexibility when needing to change dates. The little cafe nearby (Little Cove Cafe) run by a lovely young surfer who makes great coffee (including by Melbournian standards!).
CONS: Rates include kids club, but I was told on checking in that they are in French so our English speaking children might not get anything out of them... so we didn't bother. Self clean on departure of $50Euro cleaning fee - takes the holiday out of a holiday when we didn't realise that this was the case. Smoking in the playground... actually, smoking everywhere... More
