Was staying nearby in Bormes les Mimosas and went to look for coffee and happened upon Le Grand Hotel. The welcome from reception was really friendly, the coffee satisfied (but wasn't noteworthy) but the view of the surrounding coast was outstanding. I didn't stay at the hotel, but from the care taken of the grounds and the welcome of the... More

Awesome view from Le Grand Hotel, Bormes! Splendid view over the whole valley and even down to Le Lavandou and the Mediteranean Ocean. Our third stay at the hotel, this time for twelve days. No pool, but the beach is only 5 km. away, you need a car. 5 minutes walk to the charming village of Bormes. Very clean rooms.... More

This hotel is an older style Europeam hotel, but has been remodeled with many modern conveniences. We stayed in one of the larger rooms (303) and found the extra space very useful, as well as the refrigerator and private terrace. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. What we loved the most was being able to walk down... More

Le grand hôtel at Bormes les mimosas is a really good place to stay if you have a car. The view is beautiful and the rooms are great. Also, we had a jacuzzi in our room which was unexpected. The price of the rooms are lower than at any other hotels and that's great ! However, on our first night,... More

We were visiting Bormes for the day and visited Le Grand Hotel for a light lunch taken on the terrace. We did not stay overnight but the impression was that service would be good. A calm relaxed lunch away from the crowds and bustle in the village.

Stayed here for a night in July. Beautiful views and excellent location. Nice clean rooms, very friendly staff. Rooms are very hot in the summer and even at night because some rooms didn't have ac. Overall a wonderful hotel and I'd love to stay here again.

Beautiful older hotel, with very large rooms, completely modernized, a breath of fresh air after the tiny boxes we stayed in , visiting other cities. September was a delightful time to visit. Not too hot and no crowds or traffic.

This hotel sits above Bormes with a short walk to the town and a magnificent view to the Mediterranean. Rooms are generously sized and clean, nicely decorated with desk and free wifi. It has a lovely outdoor area with tables chairs and umbrellas from which time can be passed snacking and looking across to the Med. Besides a good breakfast... More

We had a quiet, spacious, comfortable room. The breakfast on the little terrace each morning was a delight. Even better was sitting with drinks on the main terrace late into the evening and absorbing the wonderful views over the countryside below. All this applied from our second night. Our first night was extremely uncomfortable because it was very hot and... More

Sadly,we only had one night to stay in this unique hotel that has a breath taking view of the Meditterian Sea. Each room is decorated differently with special touches and decor. Morning breakfast on the patio with the beautiful view was a wonderful experience. A short walk into the beautiful quaint village for cocktails and dinner was certainly a memborable... More
