Hotel's Favorite
Located in the business park close to the railway station and the large City 2 shopping center. Nice restaurant with good dining. Breakfast is a little small. There is a car park area beside the hotel. rooms a spacious and it can be an advantage to get a room to the front as the railway lines run close to the rear of the hotel. Trains do not run during the nights though so it is not a great issue but of course they start early in the morning.

If you love the nineties, this is a good choice. Except for some lamps and a TV, not much can have changed since then. It was really worn. Much noise from the railroad just outside, from the hallway and the adjacent rooms. To charge my laptop, I had to use the outlets for the lamps. OK breakfast. The main positive thing was the size of the room.

Rooms are basic consisting one small cupboard with four hangers. Shower/ bath with heated towel rail that didn’t work and just squeeze type soap dispenser. Twin beds we had but with one small cushion type pillows per bed with no extra one available. Certain restaurant staff were very rude ie. won’t accept cash for wine approx 27 euros a bottle so we were glad we never got one,but when we tried to pay with popular credit cards they were rejected and was told rudely we had no funds and were told other people’s cards were ok on their mobile machines. Most staff polite and helpful. Breakfast was cremated bacon, reconstituted scrambled eggs and small sausages were chilli flavoured. So continental breakfast is the best option, also “cold” it ain’t,juice dispenser is mostly run out so you get coloured water. Danish pastries are available and are good as is varied cereals, coffee is bearable. Hotel looks good outside and in reception but it end there. Very Basic.

Recently stayed here for three nights on a Christmas Markets trip. The room was extremely basic. The duvet on the bed had a blood stain on it. The bed only had one pillow. When I asked for another, I was told they did not have any spare pillows and would have to make do with one! The bathroom was disgusting. There was mold around the tiles and the shower spray was extremely dirty, in fact I don't think it had ever been cleaned! One of the glasses in the bathroom had marks in the bottom so clearly had not been cleaned. There was no safety deposit box in the room so had to carry all money/passports with me each day. Surely safety deposit boxes should be a standard feature of all rooms. The breakfast was disappointing to say the least, in fact most was inedible. Watery under cooked scrambled egg, very strange and spicy looking sausage and cremated bacon! The bacon was so crispy and overcooked that when you tried to put a fork into it it disintegrated! Quite bizarrely there was no toaster supplied which meant bread and butter most mornings was as far as I could eat for breakfast. I Only had one evening meal and that also was awful!! The choice consisted of cold salmon, overcooked chicken, overcooked broccoli and strange looking mushrooms, potatoes, and creme fraishe was a raspberry on the top! That was it no choice other than that. You certainly do not need a alarm clock at this hotel, as I had one of the rooms adjacent to the rail lines. Every morning you are guaranteed to be woken up from 4:00am by the constant noise of trains of varying size going through the nearby station. All in all i think this is possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Will I ever go back ..............no. In fact I have told the coach operator so who I travel with that I will not travel with them if this hotel is included in the itinerary!

Dear Terry I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. Like most hotels we have rooms in different category and standards. Our lowest category - which is the cheapest - are not renovated and the rooms are not equipped with safety boxes facilities. All our Deluxe rooms are newly renovated in a lovely Nordic Design, quipped with, safety boxes, coffee and tea facilities and facing away from the railway. Perhaps this is a better fit if you need a hotel room in Høje Taastrup in the future. We did not received any complains from your group regarding the dinner nor the breakfast while you stayed with us. But we are constantly working to improve ourselves, and we are happy to receive your constructive feedback. Best Regards Ghazal HM

Rooms are very tired. Shower safety hand rail is not fixed to the wall properly and very dangerous. Tap in the bathroom extremely loose and waggles from side to side. Dimly lit room with no ceiling light. We were lucky and had a kettle but an elderly lady in her eighties, who was on the trip with us, had no hot water facility at all. Upon requesting a kettle was told she was not allowed one in the room. They then changed that to they didn’t gave a spare. When she asked for hot water to make a drink they wanted to charge 2 euros! In desperation she tired to pay but they only take cards in the WHOLE hotel. Travellers be warned. The best bits are friendly staff and good breakfast.
